For The Fisherman's Retreat, whisky collecting is a hobby that brings as much pleasure to the owners as it does for their customers. It became a regular occurence to buy a bottle of whisky every week, moving from supplier to supplier to create a unique collection. The search went on for a large whisky merchant whose list if whiskies was not as easily exhausted, leading the Fisherman's Retreat to get in touch with Gordon and MacPhail through a life long friend now affectionately known as "Uncle Ken".
Through visits to distilleries in Scotland taken over the years, the Magnall family have become extremely knowledgeable on the subject of whisky. Fancy trying some for yourself?
