This week we spoke to Johanna, the newest team member to join the reception team at Bury BusinessLodge. We love to find out more about our members so as Johanna has such a bubbly, friendly personality we thought there’d be a little more to find out about under the surface – we weren’t disappointed…….
Tell us a little bit about yourself
I am Johanna I have a 2 year old Son named Oscar, who I named after Oscar Wilde – I was the main role as the selfish giant (and I am 5ft 2) in primary school and became obsessed with Oscar Wilde from then on and I always said If I had a son I would name him Oscar. I also have two Yorkshire terriers – I promise I am not boring. I have a degree in which I studied Acting at the University of Central Lancashire.
What did you do before you joined the BusinessLodge team?
I was a receptionist before joining business lodge – I love being a receptionist. (and you do it so well)
Tell us something that no-one knows about you.
Well that would be telling wouldn’t it? Girl’s got to have some secrecy. (Good answer!)
If you were stranded on a desert island with one other person, who would you like it to be?
Well my first choice(s) would be Freddie Mercury and Oscar Wilde but seen as though I should go with a living person it would be Patrick Moore oh no he’s dead too….okay I know Stephen Fry or Tom Read Wilson (he’s the receptionist off celebs go dating – to be honest my hero!)
What’s your favourite food?
My favourite food hmmm a cheese pizza – also olives and gherkins (together?)
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an Actress and win an Oscar – but I think my time may have passed but I got a better one my Son #cheeseontoast - probs just aiming for a BAFTA now haaahaaa. (I believe #cheeseontoast is something like the icing on the cake)
Do you have a secret crush?
Yes Max Branning on EastEnders oh and Tom Jones (takes all sorts!)
What would you do if you won the lottery?
Spend all of my money – I would probs be bankrupt within a week of winning!
What do you love about your job?
I love my job as it is different from day to day – there is always something going on to keep me busy here at BusinessLodge. It is also nice to see many different faces passing in and out of reception and getting to know the clients.
So, a bit of a thing there for Oscar Wilde, Max Branning and Tom Jones eh! (who’d have known?)
