This week we would like to introduce not one but two people from local business, Belvoir, The Sales and Lettings Specialists, Bury. Both ladies run the sales side of the business and we decided that we’d like to find out a little bit more about life behind the scenes working for the company.

Sue is the sales administration manager and works alongside Becky who is the sales manager. Let’s find out more.

How long have you worked for Belvoir?

Sue - Just over 2 years, previously I was with Rayson Wilshaw for 15 years before Belvoir took over
Becky - 12 Months

What previous roles have you had prior to coming to Belvoir?

Sue - Administration Manager @ Rayson Wilshaw, Sales Administrator at Timberlake & Allen before Rayson Wilshaw took over, PA to Partner At Quantity Surveyors, Sales Executive, Data operator, Senior Typist, office junior
Becky - Always been in estate agency since the age of 16. Started as an office junior and have worked my way up – negotiator, senior negotiator, Valuer, senior valuer, Business development, manager.

What is it like working with the team at Belvoir?

Sue - Good, they are fun and a great team to work with and be part of
Becky - Fun, enjoyable, hard work - hahaha

Is there such a thing as a typical day and if so what does it entail (in brief)?

Sue - No you never know what is going to happen in a day, but a typical day for me very briefly would be dealing with sales progression between vendors, purchasers and solicitors and dealing with any problems that crop up with the sales.
Becky - Not really – every day is different because of the different scenarios you go too. Everyone’s circumstances can be different.

What is the best thing that a client has said about you?

Sue - That they appreciated all I did and managed to keep them sane in a rather traumatic experience
Becky - That I am professional in what I do.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Sue - A grandma - (love this answer, a definite awhhh moment.)
Becky - Happy and enjoying life with family and friends

What are your favourite flowers? (could be a handy hint for the boss)

Sue - Blue Iris but I love most flowers
Becky -Roses

Where is your favourite holiday destination?

Sue - Turkey
Becky - Cyprus

If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing that you do?

Sue - Book a holiday for the family
Becky - Book a holiday and buy a house

What makes Belvoir different?

Sue - Belvoir are very professional, helpful and committed to giving excellent customer service
Becky - Though we are a franchised company we have the support and backing of a nationwide company which helps us stay ahead of the game. All staff are local to the bury and surrounding areas which give us a great deal of knowledge along with years of experience.

Cheese or chocolate?

Both - Well, no sweet tooths in the Belvoir Sales department as both prefer cheese! Cheese hampers all round at Christmas ladies!

So there you have it, the two lovely ladies who make up the sales team at Belvoir, Bury. Why not pop in and introduce yourself. They'd welcome flowers (or cheese) but will always offer a very warm welcome and the very best of service when it comes to marketing your property.
