When a former work experience student reached out to us for help in gaining sponsorship for his local Sunday League football team recently, we were more than happy to help.
Totty Robins FC are a brand new Sunday league team who very much want to get involved in the community. Their aim was to gain support of local businesses and subsequently support a local charity too.
They decided to raffle off tickets and the winner would not only take title sponsorship on their kit, but also nominate a secondary sponsor in the form of a local charity which would be the focus of the teams fundraising efforts throughout the year.
Thebestofbury were thrilled to find out that we had been picked out of the hat for the raffle and there was no question that we would choose The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity as the secondary sponsor as we work closely with them and support all of their fundraising efforts.
The charity will benefit from free sponsorship of the team kit, being the main focus of the fundraising activities for the 20/21 season plus the additional exposure across social media and at games.
With community at the heart of this team and thebestofbury being all about everything local in the borough of Bury, this is set to be a perfect partnership. We’re looking forward to supporting this local football team and following their journey as they take on the new season in a brand new kit.
The new kit was revealed on the teams new Facebook page earlier this month.
You can follow them on Facebook here and keep up to date with all of their matches and fundraising via our Facebook page here.
