Third lunch for Bury Professionals non-competitive networking
The third instalment of the Bury Professionals unique form of non competitive business networking will take place Wednesday 13 November, between 12pm and 2pm, at Santino Restaurant on Manchester Road. Both of the previous events were well attended and interest remains strong for this next lunch.
Conceived as a networking group for professionals to ‘get together, have a bite to eat and catch up’ the group’s informal and relaxed approach seems to have struck a chord amongst the Bury professional community.
‘The chance for professionals to meet, often from the same sector, without there being an undertone of competition or rivalry seems to appeal… much as we hoped it would. There aren’t many networking groups that encourage professionals - many from competitive sectors or firms - to talk shop and discuss the issues common to us all,’ said Greg French, lead partner at Bury Office.
There are no joining fees for Bury Professionals, only a £10 charge at the door for your lunch. Membership is not exclusive or limited to one representative per business sector - all professionals are welcome.
‘Our interest was to immerse ourselves within the Bury business community and start to create some meaningful professional relationships. We didn’t feel that traditional networking groups really created that sort of environment, so we decided to do something different,’ added Greg.
