The Friends of Nuttall Park are holding their second annual Lantern Parade on Saturday 29 October.
Volunteers are needed, though, to make sure the event is a success by helping to set up and man the various stalls. These will include pumpkin carving, face painting, apple bobbing, doughnut eating, mask making and lantern making.
It’s also a great chance to dress up in appropriate Halloween costumes to add a little bit of extra atmosphere.
The event runs from 3pm to 7pm, and volunteers would be required from 1pm.
For more details and to volunteer, contact Ronald Berry, Ranger for Ramsbottom, on 01706 82 3358.
