This fantastic promotion was guaranteed after The Shakers beat Chesterfield 3-2 last week, a superb achievement after two near misses in recent years. The club has truly done the borough of Bury proud and there could be more glory on the way for our local football heroes - there is still one game left in the League Two season.
The League One promotion marks an amazing revival for the club, who have worked extremely hard to achieve this latest success. A celebration will be held in Bury this Sunday 8th May, with players attending a civic reception at the town hall before taking an open-top bus parade to The Rock. The team are due to arrive at The Rock at 3pm and fans are invited to come and celebrate together.
Memorable pictures capturing the celebrations on that fantastic match day are now available to buy from the club's main reception. The photographs can be ordered in frames or as prints - a perfect item for all Bury FC fans!
