What a year it’s been! We’ve had amazing events in 2019 as always, with so many businesses getting involved and representing our borough in so many ways.
2019 has been great, but 2020 is set to be bigger and better! Let’s take a look at what’s coming up in the first half of 2020……get your calendars ready…….
Kicking things off early on, we take to the lanes on 4th February for our Annual Bowling Tournament. 2019 saw Copy Print Services take the trophy so if you fancy taking them on, why not grab some colleagues and put a team together?
On the night there’s networking, food and 2 games of bowling so plenty of opportunity to get involved and make new contacts all whilst having fun!

With the sound of pins ringing in our ears, we roll our way into March and the first of the North West Premier Business Fairs for 2020. Our October 2019 event was the biggest we’ve had yet, and we had a huge range of businesses exhibiting. Everything from bridal and complimentary therapies to social media specialists and pet services – there really was something for everyone.
We had great feedback and as always, lots of connections were made and the event was thoroughly enjoyed by all who exhibited and attended.
March 5th sees the Spring/Summer Business Fair, again at The Stables Country Club, and we have no doubt that this will be bigger and better again!

As the April showers loom, we look forward to fancy footwork and the Annual Football Tournament, it’s a time when we find out who can kick a ball and who will get kicked off with a red card! Always a fun event, and a competitive one, this is a chance to let your inner Cantona shine and battle it out for the top spot!

MIBBA Fever hits in May as we open for MIBBA20 entries on May 1st. This is one of the most exciting moments in the year as the flurry of entries come rolling in and anticipation builds to see who is shortlisted!
MIBBA19 was absolutely outstanding and we had the highest number of entries ever and new businesses entering, which is so fabulous to see.

Finally, we finish the first half of the year with our Golf Day and Summer BBQ! This event is always hotly contested and is a fun day out which culminates in an award presentation and the BBQ. Walmersley Golf Club is the perfect location for this event as not only is it a challenging course, but it has some of the best views in the borough!
2019’s winners were Woodcocks Haworth & Nuttall Solicitors and we’ve no doubt they’ll want to hang on to their current title so why not grab some team mates and your clubs and take them on? Will it be FORE! Or a Birdie?
The Made in Bury team have loved 2019 and all the events that we’ve hosted for you in the past 12 months. 2020 is rapidly approaching and we have a jam packed calendar as always.
