Laughter takes centre stage once again at The Met as First Thursday Comedy returns on Thursday 5th June at 8:00 PM. This monthly comedy night, curated by Comedy In A Van, brings together some of the sharpest names on the circuit for an evening of stand-up that’s guaranteed to leave audiences in stitches.
Headlining the night is Lost Voice Guy, the trailblazing comedian who made history as the first stand-up to win Britain’s Got Talent. With five-star reviews from The Guardian and critical acclaim across the board, Lost Voice Guy’s blend of mischievous humour and heartfelt storytelling has captivated audiences on Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance, The Last Leg, Comic Relief and many more.
Joining him is Laura Davis, the multi award-winning Australian comedian whose unique voice and offbeat style have made her a standout presence at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and across the UK. With five-star reviews from The Herald Sun and Wee Review, Davis brings sharp wit, poetic insight, and fearless originality to the stage.
Roger Monkhouse hosts the evening as MC, bringing his signature mix of observational comedy and razor-sharp crowd work. A regular at London’s Comedy Store and a master of his craft, Roger has earned accolades from The Guardian, Chortle and the Evening Standard.
Kent Cameron completes the line-up as the evening’s middle act – promising even more laughs in an already stellar show.
