Bury Hospice is offering supporters the chance to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime adventure across one of the most iconic landscapes on earth – the Sahara Desert. Taking place from 6th to 11th November 2025, this unforgettable experience will see participants trek through the vast and awe-inspiring terrain of southern Morocco, all while raising funds to support the essential care provided by Bury Hospice.
Organised in partnership with The Different Travel Company, the Sahara Trek will immerse adventurers in the raw beauty of the desert and the traditional Berber way of life. Over the course of two full days and two half days, trekkers will journey across ancient dry riverbeds, towering sand dunes, and expansive sun-baked plains. Nights will be spent camping beneath a spectacular star-filled sky, with delicious Berber meals freshly prepared by the local team.
The trek is both physically and emotionally rewarding, promising a true sense of achievement and connection, not only to the landscape but to the cause it supports.

Pay a £350 registration fee, cover the £800 trip cost yourself, and raise a minimum of £800 for Bury Hospice.
Or raise £1,600, which covers the cost of your trip and provides a vital donation to support patients and families in the Bury community.
