The staff were friendly and the room was clean BUT the shower leaked all over the floor which isn't safe, the room was very warm and the window opens a tiny bit (room fan seemed to make it warmer) The pool was okay although it seemed to have a fair bit of sand in it? The people staying in the room next door were vile and kept me awake so I had to move to another room at 1am to try and get some sleep! Kids were running up and down the corridor which was SO annoying. 😴😴 I doubt I'll come back..

Not bad, bit weird in the current climate, but they're doing what they can to keep things ticking along.... Room was clean & tidy, towels in a bag etc still quite pricey compared to other options given the restrictions on facilities though?

Very friendly staff and service in the village grill. We met up with family for Sunday carvary, and was surprised to find its basically all you can eat! £15 can get you as much food as you want. The place also has spa and gym and other facilities. As I've only had the food I cannot rate the other services but the atmosphere is very friendly, there's also free ice cream in the reception area. The downside is there's only 1 set of toilets, and you need a car or taxi to get to the place as it's in middle of industrial/business estate off the motorway/highway/dual carriageway whatever its called.

It's in a good location and reasonably priced, but the rooms are very dark. From a female perspective, getting ready for a night out is really hard as there aren't enough sockets where the mirror is. Drinks are expensive, too.

Was there to attend a Soul and Motown night.
The music was spot on. Loads to dance to.
We could really 'strut our stuff'. Excellent female singer.
Food was delicious. Plenty of roast beef.
And the profiteroles were filling.
On leaving the premises I noticed the swimming pool and sun beds.
Looked to a very Hugh standard.
It was truly a very enjoyable evening.

Me and my family popped in for some food. The food was wonderful and the staff , I couldn't fault, absolutely fantastic.. one of the gentleman behind the bar was interacting with my four year old Toni, he made her feel like a princess . Giving her high fives everytime he past. We will be going again, when we come back to Manchester. Thank you all for your hard work.

I only visited the Grill as part of a funeral wake. It was nice and clean. The food was nice, and the staff were accommodating of my food allergies. Disabled access was disappointing for a new and modern building. The entrance is up an enormous flight of stairs, and the disabled lift is tucked around the side like they are ashamed of people seeing anyone with a disability enter the premises. That's probably fine if you are in a wheelchair, but there are many disabilities, and I struggle to walk a long distance, and the lifts position makes me have to walk even further than able-bodied people. The toilet also only really catered to wheelchair users as well, with low mirrors and low sinks only, and was a long way from the room we were in. There are so many types of disability that need to use specialist toilet facilities, not just wheelchair users. I feel other needs have not been thought of at all.

Good clean facilities, large swimming pool, reastraunt food is to a high standard, drinks in the bars at reasonable prices.
Only problem is that there is not a cloakroom available for any persons not residents who visiting to attend a meeting or conference.
If you travel here by public transport during the colder months of the year, you have to carry your outdoor clothing with you for the duration of your visit.

Amazing Sunday roasts. 3 courses - you help yourself to a variety of starters, then the main is as a normal carvery (go up and the chef sorts your meat and you choose your own veg/gravy/yorkshire). Then you help yourself to a selection of desserts too - plus they have an ice cream machine. Staff are helpful and attentive. Hotel is great too but haven't stayed for a while.
