Very friendly staff and service in the village grill. We met up with family for Sunday carvary, and was surprised to find its basically all you can eat! £15 can get you as much food as you want. The place also has spa and gym and other facilities. As I've only had the food I cannot rate the other services but the atmosphere is very friendly, there's also free ice cream in the reception area. The downside is there's only 1 set of toilets, and you need a car or taxi to get to the place as it's in middle of industrial/business estate off the motorway/highway/dual carriageway whatever its called.

Two of us have just had an amazing joint birthday experience with a Spa, with afternoon tea and a murder mystery with 10 of our friends. What made it so special was all the staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble and with a crowd of women that can be quite demanding. Thanks to all the Spa and hotel staff you are wonderful!!

Lovely atmosphere, it's beautiful both on the side and outside.
Has a Modern receiption for those staying at the hotel so guests have the option of checking in and checking out using the self service machines.
They is a Starbucks and a the Hotels restaurant as well as a bar not just for the staying guests but for the health club and spa users as well as members of the general public.
Ideal for when you want a break from the city life for a day or the weekend, for a quick bite, business lunch, coffee or dinner.
The health club is ever so lovely and worth it.

The conference room was very noisy whilst a zumba class was going on in an adjoining room, but this didn't last too long. Conference facilities are good, food provided is always excellent although takes a long time to serve the numbers involved in a conference. Service overall is good though.

The rooms and facilities e.g. gym,.pool were nice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately when I was there they were doing works on their Starbucks outlet and my room was directly above. This went on until about 11.30 pm. They also had a number of functions going on at the hotel that evening, Xmas parties. My room was at the front meaning that as all the guests left loudly until about 3.30am I was kept awake

Nice place very modern. We unfortunately had a room at the back of the hotel so quite a long walk. Checking is was a bit ridiculous as they dont really have a reception, just some poor guy at a flash looking table with a touch screen interface. More than one person in front of you and you will have a long wait!! Also as nice as the rooms are they really need to use a hoover properly as it was still dirty - the friends we had staying at the hotel as well all said the same thing!!

Okay accommodation. Paid for an upgrade but frankly wasn't worth it. Coffee machine but hardly any pods to make a decent drink. Standard double bed and bigger TV. Food was good and served with a smile. Nice pool but was very busy with children.

Stayed at this hotel a few times for business. Really nice hotel, very helpful staff. My room was upgraded every time I stayed (maybe because I arrived quite late).
Food is served in both the restaurant and the pub which has sports on the big TVs all night.
The pool is nice too with a small sauna for a little R&R after work!

I am a member of this gym and after it's recent refurbishment it's the best gym around this area and has a great pool and Spa facilities. Bar food is good and on Friday's between 5 and 7pm it has burgers for £1. I've stayed at the hotel once and the room was very nice. The staff are always friendly too.

A very good evening spoiled by bar staff who in my qualified opinion should not be working behind a Breakfast was spoilt by the way the bacon was cooked it was vastly overcooked it wasn't far of being burnt to be perfectly honest. We went to breakfast quite early but only scrambled eggs available I had to request and wait for a fried egg. I attended a Military Veterans function at the venue which I very much enjoyed but the bar staff of which there were 4 couldn't make a simple Irish Coffee despite me explaining how easy they were to make at the end of which I was told that the kitchen was closed and my request couldn't be met quite what the kitchen might have to do with making Irish coffee is beyond me. Another point I would like to make is that I found the female bar staff to be quite rude, I ordered some drinks at the bar and paid for them and gave the bar person a five pound tip and was approached by another female bar person that I shouldn't tip one server without tipping the rest which made me feel somewhat embarrassed.
