Stayed here whilst in area and had a great time. Room large with good television and hot drinks available - en suite large and refined with good quality toiletries. Opening windows essential as warm weather and no air-con, but gave good ventilation and little noise. Breakfast very good standard, the only disappointment being a lack of breads choice - just sliced for the toaster.

Stayed here as it was er-route on a long journey so being just off the motorway it was handy. Reception was nice and new refurb part looked lovely. We were told that we were in the 'quiet' part. What the receptionist meant was we were in the old part. Room was ok, big etc. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Blue toilet cleaner stains on the floor and dusty. It wasn't horrible, just wasn't as clean as I'd like. Free paring and breakfast came with the room for £53 on a Friday night- so can't complain really!

Do check out your room beforehand as some have view of brick wall, although did make it quiet. V comfy bed but dinner disappointed from what sounded a promising menu. Branding is about the V so gets a bit wearing, but OK for an overnight business trip.

A perfect hotel is you want a gym and or pool for your stay, as it has a proper 25m length pool and full gym. The bar was friendly with simple, but good food. My room was excellent … but a long way from reception. It was difficult to find initially, but the benefit was it was quiet at the back of the hotel.

This is the second village urban I have visited, and I love them, you feel like you are in a private complex, welcome is fantastic, I asked if I could have a room nearer the front and the young lady tried for ages to accommodate and yes she succeeded, room was great. I very rarely eat at hotel restaurants due to cost but I love the bar and bar food and it was so reasonable. As in all their hotels they have a snack cafe which is really good. The staff and cleaners are all so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is very good and plenty of it, I enjoyed it so much I am now looking into all village urban hotels for my august short break. What I really love about them is they are so easy to find, the last two (warrington and bury) are just off motorways in there own little village and close to shopping centres, they also have fantastic entertainment on certain dates. Just love everything about them, oh yeh it's free parking and plenty of spaces too and free wi fi through out

I took a last minute booking here as I had to stay in the area on business unexpectedly.

I didn't have the best view in the world (bricks and mortar!), but the room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was great for my bad back and very large.

I didn't use them as it was an unexpected booking, but I did check out the leisure facilities which looked great (especially the 25m pool).

The food I had was very average and at business hotel prices (there is a pub carvery across the road but that looked quite underwhelming too).

A very business orientated hotel, but gave me a great night's sleep with free Wifi and just what was required on this occasion.

My friend and I ate in the Verve Restaurant in the Bury Village. The food was just lovely. I hate lovely artisan crusty bread rolls, all of a different variety, with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, while I waited, Lovely delicious crusty fresh bread, really addictive. I had double chicken with the most fantastic barbecue sauce, I did ask and was told the secret ingredient was Jack Daniels, wish I could make something as delicious at home. The dessert of Baileys cheesecake was equally gorgeous as was the ice cream with it. The staff were so lovely and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, my friend doesn't eat meat but will eat fish, the staff said that if she wanted she would also be able to choose from the fish and chips on the pub menu. It was a very relaxing ambiant environment and we felt in no hurry at all. A lovely evening all round, special thanks to Tina!

The steak sub was the best I have ever had, the quality was impressive and it looked so appealing!!!!!! You could tell someone had put passion into creating my dish! The service was good, all happy to help. The pub was very clean and attractive and well looked after!

Wifi is the only good thing. Telephone was unplugged in room - not helpful cos I booked a wake up call! - thankfully I noticed - even though I'm blind! TV has tinny sound. Cash point has a fee. I doubt I will stay again!
