Enjoyed a two night break, upgraded to a club room. Very comfortable bed but didn't have all sky channels that I thought were included. Drinks are expensive in the pub and we ate in the pub and restaurant, both didn't have what we wanted off the menu but food is generally good and all staff were very pleasant and friendly. Would always recommend village hotels as good value for money and leisure facilities are great!

Although I've visited the hotel several times for business evenings this was the first time I had stayed there. It's conveniently located, has plenty of parking and generally a good place to stay. We ate in the pub at night and the meal was very good and reasonably priced, though like ost hotels the drinks are pricey. We didn't use the Starbucks or leisure facilities but both looked busy and popular. The rooms are clean and tidy with very comfortable beds and the bathroom was modern and clean with an excellent shower. A large TV makes watching in bed comfortable and convenient. Breakfast was fine and the food plentiful and of good quality. All in all we enjoyed our stay, the staff were all friendly and helpful and we would not hesitate to use the hotel again.

This is a very busy hotel, running multiple weddings and functions with factory like efficiency. The gym is super popular and the pool is warm and inviting.

However the bar food is mediocre and the breakfasts are underwhelming. Cheap and cheerful food and coffee that makes you leave early and grab a Starbucks on the way out to get rid of the taste.

The lift was broken on Friday and still out of order on Sunday morning when we left causing people to carry cases, presents, babies and prams up and down from the second to the ground floor. There was a choice to go through the kitchen accompanying a member of staff and use the service lift but this was not ideal, it was still a long walk for a disabled person.
The staff were polite and friendly but incredibly rushed off their feet at times.

No issues with the rooms, they were comfortable, clean and modern. The dyson fan advertised does not include a remote control so it is full on or off, no timer, oscillation or level of control.

The pool changing rooms look great and they have good facilities but some signage would be helpful for people who have never been before. Otherwise you spend five minutes working on how to use the locker bracelet and looking for the entrance to the pool.

The absolute worst part of the stay was watching the masses of self righteous skinny jean wearing half wits driving pimped up cars showing off in the car park and parking in disabled bays to go the gym or just hang around loving themselves. It seams the tight pants must limit your ability to walk but don't require a badge. Go figure! This needs policing for the sake of decency and respect.

A great place to stay out of the town centre. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Although we didn't use the facilities, we looked around them and they were plentiful.

We will return if we again need to stay in the area

A lovely place located just out of the town centre with great access.

The room we had (178) was not easily signposted to, nor was reception on your way out! This clearly needs addressing.

The room was spacious and clean

I have spent a lot of days at this hotel throughout the last month or so and I have found the 2 ladies at reception called Danielle and ashleigh to be always very friendly and welcoming .. they are always willing to go the extra mile to help you out even when you ask them to print of 30 copy of something ... there customer service is 2nd to none and fantastic example of 2 model employees. Very happy.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice rooms with comfy bed but there was a bit of road noise (thought the window was opened but when checked it was definitely closed). Lift broke during our stay although we were offered the use of staff lift if required

Enjoyed a couple nights stay whilst visting my sister who lives in Manchester. The room was very modern, clean and well presented. We didn't eat or drink there. We did use the spa facicilities which was lovely. We had a treatment which was nice. Everybody made us feel welcome.
