Location: the hotel is located just outside Bury next to the motorway. It's a 20-25min walk into town or a £4 cab ride.

Service: self check-in/out. Pretty hard to find staff to help you when needed since there's no real check-in desk. Restaurant/pub service was ok.

Hotel facilities: everything you wish for. Pub, restaurant, coffee shop, gym, pool, spa. That's one of the best point about this hotel. The pool is huge and well equipped with saunas and whirlpools. The gym is also accessible. The pub's got a massive screen if you like to watch sports.

Breakfast: pretty standard breakfast buffet. Good service and nice coffee.

Room: Not very well equipped room but comfy bed and nice bathroom. No fridge or wardrobe or any storage.

Stayed at Bury Village before but the hotel has had a refurb and is even better than before. We stayed in a club room for the extra luxury. The bed was extremely comfortable, best nights sleep I had in ages. The newly refurbished gym is wonderful I always enjoy using the leisure facilities. Excellent value for a Sunday night.

All was good but we got an additional charge at breakfast and wasn't informed until the final invoice was produced. 20 pound for breakfast which was sub standard I deemed. Other than that rooms were pleasantly surprising. Bar ok. I guess it's better than a travel lodge.

As a business consultant I stay in hotels at least 3 times a week, I can honestly say this is one of my favourites. On check in there is no fuss you can either speak to the receptionist or check in yourself using their self service check in, on check out it is even easier, you can just walk out! Very quick and easy. The rooms as spacious and clean every time, and beds are comfy. My favourite part is the amenities this hotel has to offer, the gym is one of the largest I have seen and also has a separate gym for women but you can go to both without feeling uncomfortable, it offers a whole load of fitness classes and the pool is also great.

Haven't eaten at the hotel restaurant but there's a nice pub across the road that serves a delicious carvery everyday for next to nothing, and great ice cream.

Breakfast is lovely and morning staff are spot on with their service, The Starbucks is also a nice touch if you don't have time for breakfast and the staff are very friendly.

Very pleased with my stay every time I visit this hotel.

The rooms are a little tired but ok. Showers fiddly. Lighting poor. Some windows don't seem to close properly - not ideal in winter. Gym was good. Restaurant pricey - we ate at pub next door. Bar noisy - football crowd. We only paid £25 - would not have been happy if paid full price!

Inconsiderate guests banging doors regularly from 5 am. Trying to sleep was impossible. Not the hotel's fault but ruined our stay. Bar food was great. Leisure facilities good. Room needs more light and a proper kettle to make tea.

What a lovely, modern hotel! The staff are fire fly and welcoming, the rooms are bright yet cosy and the shower and bathroom facilities are amazing. Didn't get chance to use the pool so hopefully I'll be back soon. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the evening meal was a set meal plan for everybody, I like to have a choice on ordering my food. Cocktails were delicious and the bed was so comfy! The breakfast was also delicious too even though we had to ask for tea and coffee, maybe a coffee machine to help yourself? Overall brilliant! Thank you!

If you like bright strong colours then this recent refurb is for you guys. Much improved facilities from the visit of last year.
Comfortable beds, large Samsung tv screen instead of the smaller often tiny ones in other hotels. Free WIFI that worked. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Nice powerful shower.
Much choice at breakfast etc- something for everyone.
