We stayed at this hotel on good Friday for 1 night. Upon arrival at the hotel we were impressed with the size of it. We entered the lobby and there was nobody on reception. After a couple of minutes we tried putting our details on the iPad at the desk. This was pretty straight forward and we got our room key activated by following the step by step guide. The unfortunate thing was that this did not tell us where our room was and there was no signs to tell us which way to go. ( sometimes it is better to be able to communicate with a person not a computer). We eventually found our room. The room was a disabled access room with a very low bed and disabled access toilet and shower, this was not a problem. The view from this room was terrible and was just a flat roof. We went to the bar for a drink the bar had a massive tv and a good atmosphere. The drinks were very expensive at over £10 for a beer and a wine. We then went to the restaurant where we had a limited choice of food as we were on a room and meal deal. I don't see why the main menu is not included in this deal as if we were to just book a table and were paying then the whole menu is available, very sneaky thing to do. The food was good quality though.

A great few days at the Village Bury which has recently been refurbished. Great value, great facilities and just 20 mins from the Trafford Centre. The gym and spa were great and the food options ideal with a relaxed pub/sportsbar and separate restaurant to suit your needs. Staff were also super friendly.

Good hotel with pleasant staff and rooms.
Good location just off the motorway with plenty of parking.
Just avoid the rooms near the stairs as you will be awoken by rowdy guests as they return to their rooms and also try to get a room away from the family rooms as we had children competeing in what sounded like the olympics in the hallway outside our room.
Would recommend this hotel on the whole and will stay here next time I am in bury.

This is a very nice clean and modern hotel with large rooms and good leisure facilities. There is a pub on site, a reasonably priced restaurant, and a Starbucks coffee house. Swimming is good but sometimes busy. The only slight complaint is that the room walls are very thin - so don't watch TV late or you may get complaints from neighbouring rooms.

I can't knock the facilities, the look or the really comfortable room. However, I was unable to use the sink, bath or shower due to the water been literally scalding. I reported this to reception and went for dinner. Still when I got back to the room no change so after been in a meeting all day I was not able to shower or even wash before or after dinner before bed. Reported again hoping it would get sorted or I would be moved. No one came to the room and I heard nothing else. Obviously I was again unable to wash or shower in the morning before my next meeting after a very uncomfortable nights sleep. Again I reported on checking out and heard nothing else. Until I sent a email complaining.

In their defence they got back to me within a couple of hours and have offered me a free stay which I appreciate as a means of making up for the inconvenience. The lady that dealt with it was very polite indeed. If it was not for the problem I had I would have no gripes in giving them excellent across the board.

Give them a go but check the water temp as soon as you check in! :)

Very friendly, everything we needed to hand. Good location for our needs near motorway, yet not too noisy. Easy check in, helpful staff who are eager to assist you. A busy place that does not feel overcrowded, the Village has a real buzz.

I recently attended an evening business meeting at this venue. The room was a suitable meeting room, WC facilities were very clean and there were good dining choices, including a Starbucks inside of the hotel which I have never seen before! Starbucks was well used by a lot of the people attending my meeting so a great idea by the Village Hotel chain! We had a snack in the 'pub style' restaurant. The food was fresh, arrived quickly and good value.
