Having business in nearby Radcliffe, this did seem the ideal place to stay, and ticked all the boxes. With unlimited parking, and welcoming staff, the first impression was good, and the bedroom very comfortable and well soundproofed, with a state of the art TV. The evening meal was good for a group hotel with a very varied menu, but obviously not fine dining, which one would not have expected. However, full English breakfast was most disappointing (and will hotels not learn that this is usually the last memory a guest has.) Sadly one expects to find the hot dishes laid out for a help oneself to no longer hot food. However, just to be left sliced bread beside a toaster, and find marmalade in plastic containers, not even mini jars, with butter to unwrap is very substandard, and means that the minimum of (nevertheless helpful) staff have to be provided. Premier Inns provide a much better breakfast. It is all very well having superb gymnastic facilities, but many travellers just want a well appointed, quiet room, which this hotel has, and a nice breakfast before setting off in the morning.

Our wedding reception was more than we could imagine. Everyone had a lovely time. The room was amazing we stayed in we loved our special gift - thank you! Our wedding planners went above and beyond to make sure we were happy throughout the evening. The only issue we had was after the bar had closed you were able to continue to purchase drinks but only if you had a credit card attached to your room which wasn't explained at the time of booking as only one of the party actually brought details for this kind of transaction. We understand why cash isn't dealt with after a certain time but not everyone travels with credit cards when everything has already been paid for. Just good to have a pre-warning first upon booking maybe?

We stay at Bury Village for work on nearly a weekly basis. We're nightshift workers and the staff can never do enough for us. The accommodate our hours and probably work silly hours themselves to do so in terms to clean out rooms. Breakfast as a whole has been a let down at all Villages recently with a reduced menu but the staff are still excellent with their service. Excellent location mere yards from the M66 too. Really recommend should you need to stay in Lancashire or trips to Manchester

Unusual location, on an industrial estate by the motorway but seems popular none the less, assume for apparently excellent gym on the premises.

Stayed for a couple of nights for business nearby - enjoyed the burgers and choices of beer, not so much the giant screens showing football in the hotel bar but know am in the minority on this front.

Rooms were comfortable but very stripy. Coffee machine didn't work but a kettle replacement was soon brought to my room.

Pleasant staff, welcoming and helpful. Wouldn't choose to stay here normally but fine for a business trip, will have to remember swimming trunks next time.

Let down by electronic key card not working two nights running because of default computer program and having my personal credit card charged for 7 nights room and breakfast when company was picking up the tab.

Needs better lighting in the room was staying at the hotel for a wedding and found it very difficult to do hair and makeup . So probably wouldn't stay again if doing a similar thing. But over all very nice hotel and staff .

From the moment you step into the place you can tell it is a hotel of some style and class. Modern self check in system and stylish and modern rooms. The rooms had a large foldable leather couch and a huge comfortable bed, the shower had two options, normal shower or from above. Two restaurants to choose from one traditional and one a grill. Starbucks is located next to the mAin doors which is a welcome site in the morning. Huge flat screen tv, tea and coffee facilities and free wifi!

Visited this hotel on Friday 23rd June. On arrival the front of desk girls were very welcoming and told us everything we needed to know. The room was lovely and spacious only couple of niggles were bad lighting in room when I was doing my makeup and the bathroom could of been cleaner. The bathroom door had toothpaste splashed on it and shower tray had hairs ect. We then used the pool, sauna ,steam room and jacuzzi which we thought was great. Lovely lady on the spa desk who gave out towels had only been working there 5 weeks. She was a credit to the hotel and made us feel very welcome and gave us clear information as it was our 1st visit. We then had a beautiful meal in the restaurant which was included in the Friday night deal. The morning after we had a beautiful unlimited breakfast for £15 for two. Which is amazing value. It's the best buffet breakfast I have ever had. Food was plentiful and top quality. Usually I tend to find buffet breakfast dry because of being sat under the heat lamps, But not in this case.
Now the only thing I didn't like was the police was in the reception area when we went to breakfast which didn't bother me. But after breakfast we went to sit outside and there was quite a bit of blood on the flags next to main entrance where the table and chairs are. I immediately reported it to the girl in reception who said 'oh is it still there? I will get it cleaned up' we went back to the room to pack and and hour later we checked out and the blood was still there. I must say I would of given this hotel 10/10 until this incident. But now I would say 7/10 because know one wants to sit next to blood soaked flagged at anytime especially after enjoying a lovely breakfast.
I cannot emphasise how lovely all the staff are at this hotel. Which put us at ease from the moment we stepped inside. But there had obviously been some sort of disturbance hence the police being there and the blood splattered all over the flags. The cleaning up of this should of took priority because of hygiene reasons and the fact that it was to the right of the main entrance so every person entering and leaving would of seen it. Such a shame that a fantastic night away was tainted by careless mistakes.

Met business colleagues there.
Friendly, professional service.
Liked the layout of the hotel. Staff were engaging and attentive. We were up early in the morning for golf and they accommodated this well
