Although the room cleaniness was fine, the bathroom was not. The plug holes and surrounding areas on both bath and sink were filfthy, also the shower screen were connected at the bottom was black. We had a long day travelling followed by meeting friends so was not prepared to deal with it that night, we did report it the following morning and if we were going to stay another night would not have stayed in that room.

One of the better hotels I have stayed in. At £134 for 2 nights, including gym and swimming pool, it was very reasonable. The hotel bar has a nice atmosphere, but across the road is a pub that does carvery, pub food, and the a very impressive dessert menu. £4.25 for the biggest slice of cake you will ever get... very good.

My recent visit was to see family with my girlfriend, everything was great about the hotel the room, the breakfast, and the bar/food. Room was cleaned and fresh towels daily, bed was really comfy too. Overall the hotel was very very clean, staff were friendly too. Located 5 minute drive from bury town centre,
There was no need for any heating in the room even though it was the middle of november, lovely view on the river and scenery from our window, it was quiet and peaceful, really enjoyed staying here. Would love to stay again.

Old hotel that's been updated but rooms are lacking in comfort and quality. No a/c, bathroom has mold/discolored shower caulk, entire bed moves away from the wall if you bump into it. worse thing ever was the 10-12 local basic tv channel selection with NO movies or pay-per-view options. I felt like I was in a hotel from the 60's. I waited in the bistro restaurant/bar for 30 minutes before I had to ask for service at which point he told me they were actually closed for 5 minutes. Full bar of people getting food brought out while I'm leaving and they couldn't take one more order?

Didn't realise this really isn't suitable for someone staying on business. Likes to style itself as a group party venue. I was looking forward to a relaxing swim etc. but way too tired in the morning as woken up constantly by group noise during the night. Didn't hear any staff keeping noise down (which must have been noticeable in foyer). If it was a Premier Inn I'd have got my money back, and I'm not that fussy. Was not asked how my stay was, which is why I've written this. Otherwise, hotel fine good for groups. Clean and comfortable, with good facilities.

Bathroom had dirty toilet and mould around the shower, not something I would expect in a £100+ a night hotel.
If you don't use the leasure facilites there are much better hotels near by for half the price.

On arriving at the hotel the reception staff were friendly enough advised us about the facilities etc.
That is where it ends...

The layout of this hotel is like trying to navigate around the crystal maze, and it literally is a maze, firstly if you are staying in any rooms in the 100's then be prepared to end up lost and walking the equivalent of a fun run.

From checking in you have to get in a lift to the second floor, then walk a good while to find another lift back to the ground floor and some more walking... it's a very very confusing place to navigate and the signs are equally as confusing.

The room itself was quite spacious, the bed was two singles pulled together and resulted in me waking up like i was in a hammock, There were several visable stains around the walls and bathroom but for the £55 i paid i didnt expect the Hilton.

The shower has two mode boiling hot or baltic cold.

Not the best hotel ive stayed in, and looking back i should have taken up the offer of the chain hotel across the way for 20 cheaper and would have had a better nights sleep.

Be aware if you are alergic to dogs then this isnt the place for you as they allow dogs in the room and around the hotel.
