I was very tired from driving for six and a half hours, but, as the room was facing the car park which was near the M66 motorway, I could not sleep as I could hear cars going past all night. Moreover, at 3am in the morning, some young people were making a din outside my bedroom, and my neighbour was banging doors!
For these reasons, I did not sleep all night!
I complained about the disturbance, but all I was told that these people were leaving that morning! I can't say I was too happy with their reply.

I was staying here for work in the area for a couple of nights. The room i was in looked like it has been fairly recently refurbished (possibly in the last six months), not a large room, but with nice decor and well presented (note that there was a large shower and no bath). There was a good fan provided, which was used on a particually warm night.
The wifi was good throughout my stay.
I had one breakfast at the hotel, which was good - a decent buffet selection of hot and cold items. The second day I chose to have breakfast at Starbucks in the hotel, so there are good options available (this was more cost effective than the hotel breakfast).
I didn't like that on checkout I wasn't given an opportunity to check the bill as they charged it to my card and then emailed the invoice, this resulted in me having to call later in the day to rectify an incorrect charge on the bill (this was resolved quite easily, but it would have been nicer to be able to do this face to face on check out rather than having to check and call them back).
It's a very large hotel with a variety of facilities, but I didn't make use of any of these during my stay. Good loaction of the hotel, it is possible to walk in to the main shopping centre from the hotel and very close proximity to the motorway.

Room was comfortable and the pub section was really nice... however... the drain in the shower was blocked and flooded the bathroom in seconds and the food was variable, chicken lollipops really nice however the chef seemed unable to cook a jacket potato and broccoli as they were absolutely stone cold it was sent back and came back... clearly been blitzed in a microwave not impressed.

The room was really amazing and very clean, big flat screen, comfortable big bed, hot water shower and a great pub. A very large parking lot and fast check-in.
The hotel was kinda hard to find.

Only used for sleep so didn't get to use the restaurant but it looked nice. Plenty of parking, free wifi, large flat screen TV with sky (Club Room).
Will use again next time in area.

we needed to stay locally for 1 night. This hotel was ideal, loads of free car parking, excellent leisure facilities and a good sized room. would recommend.

This was a nice lil weekend away for me and my boyfriend as we do get to see each other alot. First food stopped at 10 and I was starving so couldn't get room service and then the take out menus provided just went very good. I dint realise the duvet was feathers until 4 in the morning (my own fault) wiches I can't have but forgot to say. The blind wasn't very black out and the shower door was tinny so the water went everywhere... also... and this is the main one, it was like a maze to find your was around we and another couple were going up and down up a download trying to get out. And the torqoise on the wall and all the steel made us feel like we were on a army bade and by boyfriend would know lol xxxx

The hotel has recently been refurbished. It now offers a great business meeting place and the rooms are superb value for what you pay.
