We stayed over for a night as a family due to attending a family party in the city.It was a Friday night and the hotel was very busy and very noisy. The first room we were given upon entry was met with wet towels all over the floor and a bathroom floor soaked in water. A new room was given promptly. The window did not close properly so was unable to shut out the noise from down on the front of the hotel. The bathroom was quite dated with rust around the plug hole and we could not get the shower to work.
Breakfast in the morning was fresh with a lot of variety. The pool area was pleasant although very busy with swimming lessons.

Nice hotel, we stayed as was at concert in Manchester, no complaints regarding general hotel staff good cleanliness all great, think was just disappointed as room we had been alocated was very dark with hardly any natural light at all, even with blinds fully up was dark, only other problem was room was very hot through the night did use fan but don't think size was sufficient to size of the room
Asked if upgrade was available (was happy to pay) but unfortunately hotel was fully booked :(
Overall was ok tho and would visit again

Held a business meeting here. We started in the lounge/foyer area then went out on the wide open and sunny terrace with coffees supplied from the integral Starbucks coffee shop. The hotel is spotless as are the toilets. Looking down into the large swimming pool, jacuzzi and sun-lounger area makes me want to come back and stay a night here...even though I only live 30mins away!

A very impressive luxury hotel, that does not cost much more than many of the leading budget chains. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with latest innovations. The bed must one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The bathroom had unique decor complete with a state of the art electronically controlled shower. The toiletries were of the highest quality, not to mention the enormous soft bath towels. Being disabled, I appreciated the lift from the car park up to reception. Finally please add to the number of hotels you have as I for one want to stay again

Been to the hotel several times before, though it has been thoroughly redecorated since I came last. The bathrooms are very nice indeed, though they still haven't sorted out the windows not shutting fully; I knew from past experience to request a room at the back, as rooms at the front get smoke and noise from smokers sitting on the terrace out the front of the hotel. However, I think we were next to the event area as even with earplugs I could feel the bass shaking the room (was on second floor)! Didn't have a great night's sleep but if cold air from outside and some light coming in from blinds not covering whole window (though they are black-out) don't bother you, you might get a good night's sleep. Also we had noisy neighbours on the Saturday night due to the wedding or whatever. Double room was a squeeze with a Z bed and cot either side of the bed, my in-laws were in a club room which was at a metre longer so better for a couple with 2 kids.
Also shame that they don't have room service any more, though the Public House had good food and service was very friendly. We also like the pool.
Stayed in June 2016 with a toddler and an infant.

Great service from all staff. The reception staff were super helpful and went out of their way to ensure we got taxis when we wanted them. The late night bar service was excellent. We didn't spend long in the hotel or in our room as we were attending a concert in Manchester. The staff went out of their way to ensure all our transport requirements were met.

Ive been a regular here for the past few years and its always been my favourite hotel in the area despite it looking a little tired but WOW what a transformation, the new bedrooms are fantastic! Stunning bathrooms, huge new TVs, lovely comfy beds and even the wifi has been upgraded (best I've used in a hotel). They have also introduced an optional automated check-in service which is perfect for me as I stay a lot, cant wait to see what it looks like when they finish all the other areas.. Oh and most importantly, the staff are still brilliant,

Good location if you don't want to stay in Manchester City Centre. Just off the M66 and 15 minutes to the city centre. Also close to the Metro although we drove in. Clean fresh and welcoming with ample car parking.

Enjoyed my stay at the Village Hotel, the rooms were spotless...Sadly i didn`t have the time to use the hotel facilities, but they did look good.
The hotel is in a great location, just off the motorway.
I wouldn`t hesitate to book this hotel again.
