We stayed here as a family mini break and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as good as possible. The bar staff in the public house were brilliant and the food was far superior to that across the road.
The rooms are extremely nice although the bathrooms could do with an upgrade!
The food is nice, the staff are superb and the overall hotel plus gym/pool facilities are really satisfying.
One improvement would be the reception area. The computers could not check us in so we had to wait for only the one member of staff working the reception.
Overall - would definitely come again!!

Great stay, great staff; AMAZING food. Issues with booking as they booked my stay and spa at two completely different hotels. But once resolved it was great. Spa treatments started late and ended early, very noisy also (spa itself 3 stars)

Firstly let me say DO NOT BOOK VIA THE WEBSITE it crashes or freezes and you can't tell if you have booked or not. Book via the phone it's much better and the call staff are very helpful and pleasant. The room we had was clean and the bed was comfy with a good nights sleep had by us. We booked the breakfast and dinner add ons and I am very glad we did. The dinner is two courses which is a choice of starter or pudding and a main, the menu has four choices for starters and puddings and five choices for mains. The menu can be found on the website as the set menu. The breakfast was the usual buffet type with plenty of choices. There is a pub style bar and also an onsite Starbucks . All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here and I would stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night unexpectedly. Booking was very quick and easy and excellent value for money. Very clean and modern. Would highly recommend this hotel as i would like to stay again. We did not eat or use leisure facilities but we did drink in the bar which was i nice atmosphere and reasonably priced for a hotel.

Booked at one day's notice with no idea about the hotel. Pleasantly surprised on arrival, friendly welcome and swift check in. Room on second floor was quiet, tastefully decorated with huge TV and coffee machine. Good selection of drinks in room. Comfortable bed and a very well appointed bathroom. Breakfast was good, well presented selection of hot and cold foods, tea and coffee freshly made to order by efficient and friendly waitresses. Swimming pool was excellent.
Overall a great stay and excellent value at £45 for B&B.

So many things about this hotel were lovely that I feel bad giving it only 3 stars. However, the beds were so shocking that I don't feel able to score it any higher. The main bed was rock hard and our 2 kids were on camp beds. One was OK and the other one appeared to be the Base of a sofa/other bed with only a duvet laid on it for comfort.....no mattress! My son camps a lot with scouts and ended up sleeping on the floor as it was more comfortable!
Also the walls are very thin so people speaking in the next room could be heard and also their TV (until 3.30am!)
The breakfast was lovely as were any staff we encountered. The swimming pool was a real boost and we used it each day. Lockers and towels included. The pool had lanes cordoned off for swimming and their was a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

Really lovely, unique rooms, great amenities, fresh, modern! Wanted a place with a spa to relax after the long city walks and turned out to be just what we bargained for! Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean (except for the sauna floor). Huge carpark and relatively close to the city - approx 15 min drive. Loved it!

We booked a last minute break including evening meal. The hotel is lovely, espec the newly refurbished swimming pool it was nice and warm. The evening meal was fron a set menu and was of high quality. The restaurant had a live singer so was a nice atmosphere.
