peaceful despite being right near the motorways, and railways, yet also near a lovely river. a gym and pool in the hotel along with plenty of food/drink options and another pub across the car park.
a lift for wheelchair users from the car park to the reception.
the lift inside does all floors and down to the leisure centre, with easy access.
I stayed due to a conference, and had a wet room in my room, along with large bed and a lounger, and still plenty space for a wheelchair user to get around, as my chair is a six wheeler and i got round easily.
Would definitnely recommend to people

Stayed for one night. Large hotel, very convenient for motorway access and has plenty of free parking too.

Modern electronic check-in area, but with staff on hand to help if need be. Room was clean, comfortable and modern - on a par with similar chain hotels.

Several dining options in the hotel, along with a starbucks (though it would be nice if this was open a little earlier in the morning for guests checking out early).

Downsides were the loud noise of guests outside the hotel front door at night, as they gather there to smoke. There was also a lot of noise from the housekeeping room area (directly opposite my room), radio noise, loud conversations across corridors etc.

Stayed in this hotel with my wife for our wedding anniversary, the hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, providing a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the room on arrival. the bar staff were extremely helpful during a period were my boys were misbehaving.

Overall good! Club rooms are clean & comfortable, staff always helpful & very friendly. Frequent the hotel several times a year, it is the perfect location for us when we visit family. Close to Bury & easy access to Manchester.

Stayed for my friends wedding, fantastic venue, reasonable prices on bar and very friendly staff. Wedding staff were great, all staff welcoming and smiley.
Only points to improve on were room not clean enough and breakfast pricey for what it was.

Very convenient. Club room very quiet but difficult to find, up and then down different stairs, needs better signage. Bathroom towels are thin and ought to be much more luxurious for a stay of this cost. Instructions for the coffee machine would be helpful. Staff warm and welcoming.
