I have stayed at this hotel for a weekend event twice in the past year. Not really anything wrong with it; the bed was firm but comfy, nice big tv, lovely big shower, great breakfast, welcoming and helpful staff. So I would stay again, of course. On the slight downside .. I have to say something about the decor in the rooms, which I can well imagine was imagined as funky and modern, when designed. The walls are painted in a greyish, bluey-green. The windows are only small (and last year, the window in our room was draughty too) and the effect of this is that the room would feel dark and depressing, especially given that the view is of the hotel flat roof, against a typically leaden and dull Bury sky outside. There is a feature wall covered in startling horizontal stripes, a motif which continues across the carpet. The bathroom (in shades of slate grey, warm beige and white) provided relaxing and reassuring respite from this unsettling scheme, but unfortunately I could not sleep in there.

Great stay and value for money! Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Stayed in a club room which I upgraded two days before the arrival which was great value for money and well worth it. Great experience all round. Lovely staff!

Booked this through laterooms. There weren't many options to be close to Bury. This is a big imposing hotel in a business park just off the M66. The check in was super efficient self service, but there was someone there to help if needed. As I was walking in there were quite a few people right outside the front doors smoking and there was a big group of women who were on a hen night gathered and making a noise. I thought "oh dear this is going to be interesting". Anyway the room was large and with a good bathroom and shower. Big TV and a big bed. Clean too. View out the back was nothing special. Slept well and no disturbance from the hen do!! Breakfast was ok. Quite good choices and self service cooked. Bit of a cafeteria feel but OK. There is a big pool and gym which we didn't use but they looked good.

One slight complain I was asked did I want a room to the front or rear of the hotel I opted for the rear, the distance to get there wasn't an issue, I just thought it was a little confusing trying to find the room 3rd floor two lifts later but overall a fantastic hottl

A brilliant Hen night in a perfect location. Couldn't have asked for better. Venue and staff were spot on. The 80's Disco was right up my street. Room was comfortable and clean and the shower was fantastic. Thankyou

We had an absolutely fantastic night but that was due to the company and C&B team, not the rest of the hotel.
Check in is completely impersonal and I wondered if I'd strolled into a conference centre instead of a hotel reception, no one around to greet and met with tablets for self check in.
This was after lugging a heavy suitcase up the large amount of steps,( not sure how the disabled access works as I couldn't see a ramp or signs to a lift.. ) again, no one around to offer assistance if needed.
Checked into a room that hadn't been cleaned yet, the previous occupants takeaway being our first view as we walked in, great start for the bride to be who was being surprised by the hotel stay.
The housekeeper was very apologetic and hastily cleaned whilst we waited next door with friends, so can't fault her. However the other staff encountered on Reception need to step up their game, had to ask FOUR times for someone to replace/fix the broken fan in the room. One receptionist pulled a face about a friend to me, maybe not realising we were together.. not exactly professional.
The rooms are so dark. Tiny windows, depressing decor. It was hard to get ready for a night out because we couldn't see properly. Ended up holding a compact mirror near the window to apply make up. They were however very clean and the beds very comfortable. Although the blind was broke, went down at night and refused to open again, so even less light to get sorted in the morning!
The party night was great, fantastic music choices, good dj, food was delicious and hot, serving staff seemed pretty enthusiastic and friendly.
Pool/jacuzzi/steam room/sauna all great and really well maintained. Changing rooms are freezing when you get out of the pool though so be prepared with clothes to throw on quickly!
Check out was as bad as check in, ignored at first then told to throw the key in a box, no question of whether we'd had a good stay.
Would I stay again? Probably not. The rooms need improvements and the staff some training in hospitality.

A family celebration and overnight stay. Good food and company but mixed feelings about the room with a very low bed and noisy. We also paid full price without breakfast for this. I think we would have viewed it more favourably if we had had time to use the swimming and leisure facilities and had breakfast included.

The hotel is modern and clearn with great amenities. The starbucks in the foyer is a nice touch - and the conference faclitties are spacious and light. if you are arriving late and want to eat - make sure you arrive before 10pm otherwise you will miss out! Conveniently located right next to the motorway and easy to find.
