adequate as a clean room, check in is setup to be self serve on ipads, but has never worked for me, always a tech fault of some sort, breakfast is ok but typical hotel prices. I use this hotel regularly as its close to my clients in Manchester, so location is good - out of town with plenty of parking. Lots of steps up to front though so might put some people off.Bar is open all night fro residents - might also put some people off.

The only thing i would change, is on arrival just after 10pm, we could not get any food, not even a sandwich, that was my only disappointment. Other than that i would recommend your hotel to anyone
And i will

Great place to enjoy a night or weekend, choice of hotel 'pub' or restaurant or starbucks and leisure facilities and spa for added enjoyment. Rooms and bathroom spotless clean and very friendly staff.

Great hotel and location whether for business, leisure or party. Gym facilities are excellent - well equipped and clean with large variety of options.
Room was clean, but lacking a comfy chair to relax in.
service was great all around.
All staff whether in the pub, restaurant, hotel or gym were all friendly and helpful.

The perfect place to visit!!

Myself and my family stayed here the night before my wedding and we couldn't fault the hotel staff, rooms and facilities - would highly recommend it to anyone - they even let us keep both rooms until 1pm having only paid the extra for one of the rooms which was really helpful for us getting ready for the wedding!

Usually a good place to stay, good facilities and ok location in terms of what's around, free parking available and free wifi too. My last visit was awful as they had a party on and it meant I couldn't sleep until 2am and my room had some flaws too, however in the past I have had great stays.

Room was very modern and clean we were in a club room very large tv tea and coffee in the room bathroom was excellent and the shower was the best.
We had breakfast which was buffet style but very good quality.

What a fabulous place for a wedding! We looked at loads of venues & this one ticked all the boxes. Amazing rooms and balcony area outside for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception.Great planning by Louise, superb organisation on the day by Megan and an amazing welcome & support from Emma on reception, the night before & in the morning! These guys really made our day super special! Nothing was too much trouble for anyone as well as everyone else in the hotel, they were all super friendly. Lovely comfortable spacious, rooms, the dyson fan was a saviour in the brides/maids room on the sunny morning of our special day. The Upper Deck rooms rooms are a proper treat with some lovely gifts from the hotel staff. Food all round and the Village suppliers for the wedding all did an amazing job. Thanks so much to the Village Hotel Bury for everything, we could not recommend you highly enough!!

We upgraded to a club room and was allocated room 190, this room is a very spacious room with a view of a stream, very nice considering I expected it to just be a car park or something. Pleasant surprise. The room itself is very large, with a big very comfortable bed. Best nights sleep I've had in a while.
The room is well equipped with coffee machine and dyson fan, which was another welcome surprise as it was 24 degrees outside during our stay.
All the staff we had dealings with bar staff, reception and gym reception were ultra polite, friendly and welcoming. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Only let down by a poor breakfast that's the only fault in my stay. Saturday breakfast was well below par. Everything else was way above par. Opinions are just that opinions. Generally overall very good, would most likely use again. This was my second visit.
