I attended a family birthday party. I attended the same hotel 10 years ago for the same reason and it was fab then and even better this time round. The food was fabulous in the restaurant and bar. The entertainment was great and staff were warm and friendly. The walls were a little thin but it didn’t spoil my stay and I would happily stay here again. It’s a gem of a hotel!

Not a bad hotel. But let down with details. Room was well furnished and modern. Just poorly cleaned. Pillows had blood on them. Got changed for some with more blood on them.
First night woken at 2am by arguing couple in corridor who then procedded to argue and fight all the way to reception and then outside. Resulted in wife breaking whiskey bottle over husbands head. Meant no sleep for anyone till after 3.30am.
Second night woken by a party on 10 to 15 in reception/front door. No fights tonight but still no sleep till 3.30 again.
Surley if this sort of thing happens and disturbs the rest of your guests it would be wise to have a night guard. Or security. As to expect the lone lady on reception to deal with these incidents is ridiculous.
Apart from little sleep, grubby bedding and little attention to cleaning detail in room. The hotel is well situated with lovely staff and a very good breakfast. Which we had refunded by way of an apology for two nights lack of sleep. Could be s really good hotel with more attention to detail.

Hotel was great and we would stay there again, the pool area was great and the bar area was lovely to sit and relax and enjoy a few drinks. Our room however was looking on to a roof so next time I would request a better view and also we didnt have a bath just a shower which is fine if you like showers but I dont. We only stayed for 1 night otherwise with these points in mind we would have asked to be moved

I can say that the swimming pool was more like a leisure center overcrowded with children in the afternoon definatley not a relaxing experience for adults lanes roped off for swimming lessons and only one lane really for adults to swim

I spent 2 wonderful weeks at this place. My staying was for business but became for 'leisure' as the staff and the options there were fantastic.
The restaurant has healthy and delicious dishes, the gym and the pool were great.
Thank you for made my business trip a pleasant one.

After having our wedding over in Cyprus we decided to have our UK wedding reception at the Village Hotel Bury.

We couldn't have picked a better venue. From start to finish the staff were great. Louise (wedding planner) was amazing! She met with us on a number of occasions and any request however big or small she sorted out for us. Even when I kept changing my mind and adding extras right at the end.

Rod (operations manager) was fantastic. He couldn't do enough for us! He made the room look amazing on the night.

We were given a complimentary Club room to spend the wedding night in which was lovey!! Huge room so lots of space to get ready in. Having a largish wedding dress I needed space.
Perfectly clean and not a thing out of place.
Lovely breakfast the next morning.

Nothing at all to complain about!

Highly recommended for any occasion!!
Thanks again

We often dine out at weekends and are particularly keen on fine dining including Sunday roast dinners. Having recently been left disappointed by the same ol'stuff other knows restaurants are offering which one could simply classify as "ok", we decided to try the Village Carvery in Bury. This is not just a Sunday roast place, it should be a Monday roast, Tuesday roast, Wednesday roast and so on! The service is impeccable: Kaleem (the Manager) has finely tuned his staff to the best attention to detail one can expect, with genuine friendliness. The selection of mouth watering meats and sides will have you begging for more...and you can too as it's part of the deal! Literally perfection on a plate. So good that it should put every other Carvery out of business! Try it and see for yourself...Awesome job Kaleem & staff keep it up as I'll be back...

Friendly greeting at reception with a modern clean room & bathroom. Sadly our stay was ruined by other guests screaming and shouting until the early hours. Guess we were unlucky but we would stay again.

I wasn't expecting much as I had to book somewhere to stay whilst working up in Bury. But I was pleasantly surprised. Checkin took seconds - check out just pop your key in the box on the way out, my room was super clean, and the tv was huge, the bed was really comfortable. Best hotel I've stayed in so far in the Bury Area. Massive free car park.
