Nice break away from the grind!! Can't beat the room for a 10er deal, all you have to do is spend £50 in the restaurant, on food an drink, which ours, for 4 pints of Stella, the wife had 3 dbl archers an lemonade then we both had a 3 course meal with extra sides came to £48, then we both had a Starbucks coffee to take it over the £50 in the morning.
Exceptional value for money.

We had the most amazing wedding at the Villiage Hotel Bury, organized by the fantastic and lovely Tina who definitely helped our day go without a hitch. And the amazing Rod & who managed the evening and room set up. Wow what a guy. Nothing was too much. Our room looked fantastic and everyone had the best day and night. Thank you all so much.

Clean modern hotel. Not enough space to sit comfortably in the reception/lounge due to most of the area being taken up by business people holding meetings. Spa area at present being renovated so not quite as relaxful as expected

Well located in terms of accessing the town centre however it is a fair distance away from Manchester city centre. More than enough free parking available as there is a huge car park. The facilities at the hotel aside from the room are really good, they have a big gym, a separate women's gym is available, a full size indoor pool, a small jacuzzi and small sauna and steam rooms. However if you are a guests at the hotel you have to now pay £5 extra to access these facilities (this used to be free). The hotel has an impressive pub and restaurant within it, there's also a Starbucks which is really handy when you're leaving in the morning. Room service is available (at a cost obviously). Breakfast is an option and is actually really good in terms of quality and options available. The rooms are spacious and also cosy, some are fairly modern too. They offer upgraded rooms too which are really nice, more attractive, more facilities as you can imagine e.g. nicer bathrooms, coffee machine in room and sky movies package on a large TV. Free WiFi is available through out the hotel and it's surprisingly fast speed. This is a modern and bisy hotel, usually noisey on the weekends until around 1am to 2am as they have events such as wedding parties, birthday parties, performamce nights, hen do's etc. You could ask for a quieter room however it depends on whether this is available or not so ask in advance. The staff are generally welcoming and professional I've found and the facilities are kept fairly clean although I did find my room wasn't as clean as I expected it to be. I think it's one of the best options around if you want an all round good stay with a number of facilities for an average to just above average price.

Photographed a wedding here recently.
Staff are amazing, couldn't do enough for the bride and groom on their special day.
Great place if your not getting married too, gym, bar, restaurant and a Starbucks.

Attended a dine and disco for a work colleague's hen night. The food was ok and the service was very regimental but due to the large volume of people there (there were several other party's in the room too) they obviously want to serve and clear the food within a time frame, so that the disco can begin. Can't comment on the rooms, as I did not stay overnight.

I guess this is considered a nice hotel in Bury. There is a gym in the basement that is open to the public. The gym was nice. However it's an added fee for the hotel guests to use. Also, I was very uncomfortable with the fact that anyone can gain entry to the hotel guest floors. Especially as there is a gym open to the public within the building. You never know when someone could be lurking.
You also check yourself in. There is someone there to help you, which almost everyone needed help.

Sheer bliss a lovely spa day with light lunch and treatments from start to finish treated like a princess pool sauna steam room and choice of Jacuzzis amazing. Lunch was lovely and just met my needs light fresh and plenty full. Treatments WOW !! facial was amazing back massage fabulous then file and polish on my toes. I simply loved it only downside is the comfort area. Steam chair wooden loungers are a bug No surely the business can invest in a nice leather recliner or two. For the more senior guests. But it doesn't downgrade the day.
