Hotel was well placed for town and had all appropriate services, pool, gym, spa, coffee shop etc. Although there were a few minor issues from booking in to door lock issues. However when highlighted to the hotel all issues were acted upon and resolutions were found.

Only used the downstairs areas. Was suprised as it was not as I expected, very clean, smart and clique. Restaurant/bar area was very well laid out giving plenty of space. Appeared to be alot of people using the gym facilities.

Well located in terms of accessing the town centre however it is a fair distance away from Manchester city centre. More than enough free parking available as there is a huge car park. The facilities at the hotel aside from the room are really good, they have a big gym, a separate women's gym is available, a full size indoor pool, a small jacuzzi and small sauna and steam rooms. However if you are a guests at the hotel you have to now pay £5 extra to access these facilities (this used to be free). The hotel has an impressive pub and restaurant within it, there's also a Starbucks which is really handy when you're leaving in the morning. Room service is available (at a cost obviously). Breakfast is an option and is actually really good in terms of quality and options available. The rooms are spacious and also cosy, some are fairly modern too. They offer upgraded rooms too which are really nice, more attractive, more facilities as you can imagine e.g. nicer bathrooms, coffee machine in room and sky movies package on a large TV. Free WiFi is available through out the hotel and it's surprisingly fast speed. This is a modern and bisy hotel, usually noisey on the weekends until around 1am to 2am as they have events such as wedding parties, birthday parties, performamce nights, hen do's etc. You could ask for a quieter room however it depends on whether this is available or not so ask in advance. The staff are generally welcoming and professional I've found and the facilities are kept fairly clean although I did find my room wasn't as clean as I expected it to be. I think it's one of the best options around if you want an all round good stay with a number of facilities for an average to just above average price.

Lovely place to stay. Good location. The food is great but a bit pricy and the portions are small
18 quid for 2 chicken breast that looked like it came of a pidgeon it was that small. The room was great ,bed huge wet room v large 3d tv with full sky package. I was a bit concerned that the windows opened up fully with no safety catch. The pool is best in the mornings with 3 jacuzzi sauna and steam room. I didnt visit the gym so cant comment. I would stay here again.

We ate in the restaurant. My wife has the salmon and said it was the best piece of salmon she'd had in a long time. I has the steak and it was amazing. Only criticism is that it's a shame there weren't more items on the menu as there were no starters that I liked.

Was there to attend a Soul and Motown night.
The music was spot on. Loads to dance to.
We could really 'strut our stuff'. Excellent female singer.
Food was delicious. Plenty of roast beef.
And the profiteroles were filling.
On leaving the premises I noticed the swimming pool and sun beds.
Looked to a very Hugh standard.
It was truly a very enjoyable evening.

Venue was an excellent choice for a works social event, food was great and service was spot, on nothing was to much trouble, even when we asked for something off the menu . We will be booking the same venue next year. Alcohol prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this venue to any prospective employer's
