I have stayed with the village previously in Edinburgh and couldn't fault it, went the little extra and upgraded to the club and felt it was a big let down. Bed was great but woken early by cleaners as was in the room right opposite there cleaning supplies

Rooms could have been cleaner, staff were welcoming and friendly but food wasn't up to scratch. Seats in restaurant were full of food not what we had planned for our night away!!! Glad I hadn't paid full price

Rooms are nice lighting is poor fir girls wanting to do make not in the bath room. No plugs by mirrors so take an extension lead if you want to dry your hair in front of a mirror, cob webs in rooms just poor cleaners easy to fix

First visit since refurbished. Much cleaner and better feel to hotel.
Breakfast cold and not at all tasty.
Great welcome by staff on reception, clean and tidy room.
Great pool and sauna used on both days but facilities of the gym could benifits from better signing.

This is the first time I have used Ponds Northwest and I have found them to be very reliable and informative giving me lots of tips and information that previous pond cleaners have not. Jake, who cleaned our pond was very polite and did a great job. I would definitely use this company if you are looking for a reliable friendly service. Cheers guys.

Lovely hotel , staff friendly, such a good value stay, found our mattress a little firm, for us but great room, our tv had no subtitles which we needed ,but great size screen, food good as always with village hotels , pool excellent, just need To change the vacuum cleaner in changing room, it smells horrible

Really nice hotel with a decent bar/restaurant. Rooms were nice but could have been cleaner. Had some signs of possible historic damp and cups looked dusty. Large TV, comfy bed and respectable bathroom. Reasonable rates, fair prices at the restaurant and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Self check-in quick and easy. Room was large, but it could have been cleaner. Rubbish left on floor under bed, someones bobble hat left in room. Only 1 pillow per person which could have been better. Went to bar in evening poor selection of drink, plenty of gin but not all people drink it. My partner asked for 2 drinks which they never had. Overall it was disappointing.

The hotel was beautiful, very quit place (apart from the noise outside after some kind of prom)
The rooms were big enough.
The bathroom was nice but from my point of view, it could have been a bit cleaner.
The food in the pub & grill was very good, i loved that they had some vegitarian food on the menu (The wrap with sweet potato fries was very good!)
Overal it was a pleasant stay!
