We stayed with friends and found the hotel reasonable but a little tired. The self check-in is a little daunting and impersonal and we were lucky enough to find a human being at the desk. The welcome was warm and friendly. Our room was a complimentary upgrade but I cannot say that it was anything out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, it was not cooled but there was an impressive Dyson "no blade" fan that worked well. The bathroom lacked storage and the excellent shower leaked water on to the floor, making it necessary to use a towel in addition to the bath mat to prevent flooding across the room. Breakfast was good, with a good selection of cold and hot dishes. Again, the staff were very friendly and helpful. One irritation was the repeated failure of our electronic key: we were told that the system had recently been renewed but we found ourselves unable to get in twice. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to visit the extensive spa facilities. I would be happy to stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located and easy to find. The onsite facilities are excellent, with options for how to spend your time whether it be socialising, dining, working out or relaxing. Despite being a busy hotel, the staff always take the time to treat guests as individuals.

Group of us went to the Dirty Dancing Tribute Night on Friday 22nd, had such a fab time!
Dirty Dancing was fabulous, we were greeted with Sangria on arrival, all the staff were so friendly, polite and all looked to be enjoying themselves which added to the fun atmosphere. Food was amazing, ate the lot and the service was top notch too!
We stayed over and were treated to Rose in the room as a special treat for a special occasion, such a lovely team at Village Bury and really made us feel welcome.
The beds were really comfy too and the rooms were spotless!
Would definitely recommend!!!!

Fab visit. Everything we needed - except pub food finished early. The gym and pool facilities were great. Easy to find as just off the motorway. Excellent that there is a Starbucks in site. We had a really comfortable room.

We had a very bad night's sleep because of rude guests swearing and shouting in the corridor. The hotel listened and apologised (though cannot be responsible) and reduced our bill. Very good customer service.

This is a perfectly average hotel with one big plus - the staff.
They were truly exceptional.
Nothing was too much - when minor issues were encountered they dealt with it efficiently but also in a way that you felt like there really was no issue!

Rooms are basic - with a couple of nice design touches.

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

We didn't use the swimming pool etc but it truly looked fantastic.
