First visit since refurbished. Much cleaner and better feel to hotel.
Breakfast cold and not at all tasty.
Great welcome by staff on reception, clean and tidy room.
Great pool and sauna used on both days but facilities of the gym could benifits from better signing.

Business trip. Convenient location to the office. Excellent service. Comfortable bed. Rooms have a hair dryer. Meals were average. Starbucks in the hotel. Excellent fitness facilities, but not many healthy menu choices.

Seriously, everything about this place is better than the usual Premier, or Holiday Inn etc. Superb decor themes, ambience, food in the pub and restaurant. the breakfast was first class, beds and TV amazing. I have not one bad thing to say about this place at all, it was seriously the best i have stayed in the UK.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel On a recent business trip. As a spa hotel it has everything that you would have spect from a well equipped gym and a swimming pool too.
They have a great self check in system which is easy to use however for those not that tech savvy there is always someone close at hand.
Located on the right is a Starbucks concession which is great for a quick catch up with colleagues and furthest right takes you through to their restaurant.
On the left hand side is a seating area with comfortable sofas and furthest left is a well stocked bar with many of the traditional lagers and ales on draft. This is a sports bar and has plenty of large screens to watch all of those important matches. A bar menu is available offering anything from pizzas, currys and burgers.
The bedrooms are spacious, clean and all have a large flat screen TV and connected to Sky. An iron and ironing board is available and depending on which rooms you have booked you will either have an nespresso machine or kettle and a safe or not based on the accommodation that you choose.
The team are friendly and always on hand and as this is a popular venue often the gym can be busy and so too the car park.
Breakfast is all catered for from fresh fruit, cereals, toast and full English which are all self service. Tea and coffee will be provided via waiting staff and if you fancy poached eggs or something a little different you only have to ask.
Overall a great place, easy to locate and offers great value for money too.
Enjoy.

A one night stop over at an otherwise lovely hotel was kicked off with being approached by a man, clearly looking for his next fix, banging on my car window before I'd even stopped, looking for cash. He then asked to get a lift. When I informed the front desk, I joined a line of new arrivals that had experienced the same. The rather large man in reception suggested that the two petite female receptionists should go out to 'get rid of him again'. Apparently this was a regular occurance and didn't leave me or apparently, the other guests feeling reassured that their cars and belongings would be safe. It's a shame that this was the lasting impression of a hotel were the staff were lovely and the rooms very comfortable, clean and quiet

We booked an overnight break in the January sale and it was excellent value. The hotel is clean, with spacious rooms and very good modern leisure facilities. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine.

Rooms are great, with all you could need including a huge TV. The gym was superb and the sports bar was very good. The bed and breakfast bill was a little expensive but the booking was made at the last minute.

Very clean and warm, large comfortable bed ensured I had a great nights sleep. Clean bathroom with a choice of bath or shower. Leisure facilities on site but was too tired to use them. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was comfortable and pleasant, staff were friendly and happy to help. Location was good too and the swimming pool is excellent, I didn't have my full gym kit and so didn't get to try out the rest of the gym facilities. I will definitely be staying here again.

My son organised my surprise party here so I can't speak for him but no arrival we had a lovely welcome from Ashley and was upgraded to a Club Room. We were delighted with it especially the tassimo coffee machine and huge telly. So much room too. The party was in the room downstairs, the only gripe on that was no toilet facilities which were located up a flight of stairs and across a long corridor. Not ideal once you've had a few drinks!! The buffet meal chosen was excellent, the bar staff were very good too. The DJ I assume came with the party package, he was brilliant. Overall me and hubby had a great night with family and friends and would definitely recommend anyone to have their party at The Village Bury
