This is the first time I have stayed here. It was an overnight stop for a business trip. The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Bed is so comfortable and all the facilities are superb. Great value for money.

Nice hotel with helpful friendly staff but the rooms need more thorough cleaning, strong smell of smoke in the bedroom when we arrived, litter on the floor
and uncleaned coffee machine in our room, would stay here again but would insist on a better room even though we had
an upgrade

If this hotel had a restaurant of the standard of the Redhall Hotel you wouldn't be able to book a room it would be so busy!

The food is average at best. Bar staff are hit and miss. But the receptionists are excellent.

I booked a club room and was told it was one of the best rooms in the hotel- they were correct. But......

You need to clean your windows, that are filthy! And you need to clean the coffee machine, leaving used coffee capsules in the machine is second rate.

Other than that good comfortable room. It's a shame that I have to leave the hotel for a decent good value meal.

Easy check in, great breakfast.Super facilities. Only minus was the way to the room which was a bit difficult with a big suitcase. the staff was nice and check in was very easy. Had forgot my shaving foam at home, but the girl at the reception got me some from the spa areas FOC.

The room itself was good value - comfortable beds, tea and coffee facilities and standard bathroom.

The restaurant let our stay down as it's very average and over-priced. We ate breakfast here twice and dinner once. The menu for dinner looked good but when the food arrived it wasn't anything special. Also the service during both breakfast and dinner was very slow which became frustrating. If you are able to, I would recommend eating in the pub/restaurant that's a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.

The location worked for us as we had the car and used the hotel as a base to get into Bury. Without the car the location would have been a pain as we would have relied on taxis.

Overall we had a pleasant stay and would return if we were in the area.

I stayed here midweek as the hotel was close to where I needed to be the next morning. I must say that I did not like the self-check in using the tablets - as soon as I ticked to say that I did not want to pay for an upgrade the tablet would freeze and take me back to the start. Fortunately there was a member of staff at the tablets with a laptop, who checked me in very quickly - even giving me a free upgrade, which was much appreciated.
The room was on the large side, but quite sparsely decorated, so looked a bit empty and did feel quite masculine. The room overlooked the carpark so was pretty quiet, and whilst there were wooden venetian blinds, there were no curtains so there were chinks of light coming into the room. The bed was very comfortable and it was all very clean. The TV was huge, and again the bathroom was clean with plenty of towels but I would have preferred a bath rather than a double shower taking up the same amount of room as a bath. Coffee machine in the room, but no biscuits.
I ate in the Verve Grill, and the food was freshly cooked and very nice but whilst the service was very friendly it was very slow. Reasonably priced. The restaurant itself was very dim, which made it look a bit dingy, and almost unclean (which it wasn't!). I also had breakfast in there, and even in the bright morning light it was still very dark and dim - I think they've taken trying to create an intimate atmosphere a bit too far!
I need to go back to Bury in a couple of months and would stay here again.

Stayed one night with my partner. Very nice, from start to finish, arrived fairly late, massive carpark in front of the building with enough room considering its also a leisure club for general public members as well as residents.

Front desk evening receptionist was great, very friendly and helpful even though she had only worked there roughly a month at the time. Great facilities, Starbucks on site (like with many Village Hotels), great bar/Village pub on site with helpful friendly staff again. Leisure facilities were perfect considering the fairly good price we had on the room, all the regular spa attractions, steam room, sauna, whirlpool and a decent sized swimming pool.

Could I grumble about anything? Not as such, if anything (and just being picky) the glass surround on the shower in the Club rooms could have done with being wider, considering the well sized fixed shower heads, the glass is too small and water ends up flooding the floor, no matter how careful you are, but that's all!!

Pay the (little) extra and go for a club room! Highly advised, great big comfy bed, Sky TV packages with movies on a family sized flat screen TV! Great facilities and extras in the rooms. Met a housekeeper on the way out when leaving the room and she was as nice as many had been during our stay, well done to all. Will definitely come again, already looking at our next visit.
