First experience of going to a gym and we met Sophie who advised us in person of all the different opportunities at the gym. Thanks to Sophie, she gave me the confidence to join and made me feel happy that this was something I could do for me. Since then, and due to Sophie's kindness and understanding with such a polite manner, I have now recommended her and the gym to my family members and others who have now joined. Always smiling, welcoming and approachable.

Not 100% happy with this place. Basic hotels have to do 3 things well. Clean room, comfy bed and decent curtains that blackout the room so you can get a restful night. All the rest are trimmings. When I checked in to this hotel, I was allocated a room that hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. Automated check in so no staff available. The new room was clean, the bed was comfy, but the room had blinds which weren't in perfect and didn't block out the morning light. Come on!!! Get the basics right Company charged £135 for the night for something no better than a Travelodge.

Exceptional hospitality, most notably the young waitress with red hair commonly seen for breakfast, is an absolute gem. She has further enriched my already pleasant stay tenfold. Lovely staff and an unforgettable experience.

Stayed two night here with work, room was a bit shoddy (broken blinds, wallpaper ripped etc etc).
Nothing on the menu was available both nights leaving us with burgers only or starve.
"No delivery" was the excuse given... Not good enough really.
Other than that the facilities are good and staff friendly

Attended a function to discover there was a free bar, so visited reception to see if any rooms were available at a reasonable rate. Tracie sorted us out and couldn't do enough for us, the night staff were equally helpful in assisting us find our room in a state of merriness early the following morning.
Bar staff were great, room was tidy, a brilliant time.

I wasn't staying there, however visited a friend who did.
The reception area was reasonable, the rooms were standard as was the bar.
The staff were friendly, but the area was pretty cramped as space wasn't used wisely; despite having a party going on a majority of the eating and drinking areas remained closed.
I found the drinks to be extremely expensive, costing £14 for a small glass of prosecco and a coke with ice.
The meal my friend had was small in portion size and average in both flavour and presentation.
Overall, a pretty standard setup which was overpriced.

Generally, it is quite a good hotel, conveniently located for those travelling via M62.
Staff is very helpful and friendly, there is also a nice restaurant and large car park.
I removed one star from the overall score as the room was very cold when I arrived, and it took a while to warm it up. The receptionist was really helpful and even offered me another room, but luckily, the things have been sorted out.
I would consider this hotel again if I were in the area.

This is the second year we have spoken to Mark Chadwick concerning our companies Private Health Care. Like many others, our policy for 2024 almost doubled. Mark contacted several companies on our behalf. Mark explained very clearly what was being offered by each company and how much it would cost. He was very patient, very helpful and never pushy. If I said I wanted to discuss options with colleagues or needed time to think I was never made to feel under pressure to make a decision. We have now renewed our policy with his help and God willing we will be talking to Mark again in 12 months time for our next renewal
