Great 80s party night. Nice thought to offer an upgrade for a minimal cost. A Village Club card feels like a must as 25% of the cost of drinks (including booze) is well worth it and brings the cost of a round of drinks to a more reasonable amount!

A nice clean venue for all your business meetings, staff are always smiling and loads of parking available. Resturant is tasty but the drinks are expensive, good job we didn't have to pay for them. Great access to the motorway

I best write this before I slip into a post-lunch snooze! We have just returned from a Sunday lunch, the hotels website is pretty dire when it comes to knowing what to expect so I'll list as much as I can remember below.

We booked online and added a note for a table close to the carvery due to my Grandads mobility. There is a disabled access lift, as you look at the hotel you need to go round the right hand side of the building and you can get to the upstairs balcony.

We were seated very close to the food as requested. All the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble, front of house was very helpful when I was trying to use my terrible maths at the end of the meal! Food was very plentiful, in small pots so you didn't feel gluttonous getting a bit of a few things, everything was very tasty. I'm a fussy eater and found more than enough to eat, though we would have loved to have seen some crackers for the pate, and maybe some cheese for those who don't like sweet for a dessert. Other than the stuffing being dry, everything was great and we've decided this is going to be a monthly treat for a family get together, I really wouldn't go across the road to the other carvery with this on offer.

One thing that families may need to bare in mind, it states that kids eat free (12 and under) with a paying adult, there are no stipulations to this, when I saw a charge for my son I was told that it's only on the 12 o'clock sitting that kids are free, I can imagine if you had more kids, on a budget and just went off what the website said you might have a bit of a shock.

Starters:
Soup and rolls, Tomato and mozzarella salad, prawn cocktail, chicken and liver pate, smoked and peppered mackerel, gala pie and cold sliced meats (peppered beef, parma ham, salami)

Main:
Turkey, beef and gammon. Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, pigs in blankets, carrots, mash and roasties, cauliflower cheese, sprouts, cabbage, gravy and condiments.

Pudding:
Apple pie and custard (ask a waitress for this, they bring it to you) chocolate mousse, lemon cheesecake, fruit salad, ice cream and waffles

Drinks prices are standard for hotel prices, £2.70 for a soft drink, £4.50 for a Guinness although a rather staggering £4.15 for a litre of water.

Staff are really friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean , close to the centre of Bury will certainly stay again. Was staying on a leisure break but if had been working may have struggled as the lighting in the rooms is poor.

Brilliant hotel, room was excellent. Huge room, bed and tv. The room had brilliant furniture, dyson fan, coffee machine, iron and ironing board. The shower was great and sky on a smart tv. The room was decorated well and really comfy bed linen. Only one problem was no bath robe so remember to take your own as I am next time. Before I forget to mention the food was great and fairly priced, served by exceptionally friendly staff, it was a lovely way to get away from it all as you can relax as it is all you need and more. I can't wait to go back to the village hotel in bury.

Came here for a family wedding. The Hotel staff were nice and friendly. Lovely rooms. Great bathroom. Loved the big tv in room. Bed comfy. Wedding food was lovely and a lovely day. Only downfall is prices of drinks including soft drinks and alcohol ridiculous prices. 1 pint of bud and a coke 7.05 I wont be drinking there again.
