What a lovely, modern hotel! The staff are fire fly and welcoming, the rooms are bright yet cosy and the shower and bathroom facilities are amazing. Didn't get chance to use the pool so hopefully I'll be back soon. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the evening meal was a set meal plan for everybody, I like to have a choice on ordering my food. Cocktails were delicious and the bed was so comfy! The breakfast was also delicious too even though we had to ask for tea and coffee, maybe a coffee machine to help yourself? Overall brilliant! Thank you!

If you like bright strong colours then this recent refurb is for you guys. Much improved facilities from the visit of last year.
Comfortable beds, large Samsung tv screen instead of the smaller often tiny ones in other hotels. Free WIFI that worked. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Nice powerful shower.
Much choice at breakfast etc- something for everyone.

great hotel only 3 minor problems

1.No Tassino machines as stated
2.Needs a better third bed
3.Pub Staff need to notify of offers for food before customers order food
other that the hotel was smart and classy

Sleep was very poor first night - 2nd and 3rd were much better - the staff were very helpful and I found the decor in corridors very dark and dull - but perhaps that is the fashion - could not work out the coffee maching no matter how hard I tried !!

Food was awful. Asked for wake up call on the several occasions that we stayed, never got one & told we never asked for one. Left a Gucci mirror in room 151, left numerous messages to ask if we could come & get it to be finally told it wasn't found. We had to continually ring up to be told, we'll leave a message for house keeping to give you a call back, never got one.

Great value for money!!! Breakfast and stay for £40 in a club room on a special deal! Really lovely spa treatment and lovely products! We did visit an Indian resteraunt in whitefield called forts of India which was very disappointing and I really didn't like! Wish we would of stayed in the resteraunt or found somewhere better!

Excellent renovation to rooms . Lacks a few condiments in the bathroom but very clean . Coffee tea provided. Most importantly a decent easy to use hairdryer that is NOT attached to the bathroom wall!! Iron and board also in the room. However thin walls and noisy from doors banging shut and people passing in the hall way. Room good value if booked on -line early .For a double £ 65 without breakfast.

I have stayed here several times however, on this occasion I was dismayed to find they have introduced a new self-service check-in system. This was impersonal and unwelcoming, and frankly annoying after a 5 hour long car journey. Not sure anyone wants to have to fill in their own name/address/(lengthy) card details on a computer keyboard island in the dimly lit lobby and then create your own room key (it felt like a bad online transaction without the benefit of doing it in your own front room). I say - a it's step too far!!!

However the room service (wine) delivery chap was every bit as nice as usual. So I am slightly sad to leave a negative review on a hotel I am usually quite happy with. Please bring back reception and the friendly receptionist!
