Stayed here for business. Pleasantly surprised by the modern decor and comfort of the rooms although it seems all the windows are drafts and chilly on arrival. Put the blind down (only looked out over rooftops anyway) and whacked the heater on full blast and soon warmed up. Bathroom leaves a lot to be desired however. Dated and ground in dirt. Must be on the ‘to do list’ next surely. Food tasty and good value in the bar. Gym exceptionally well equipped and huge as was the pool. Overall would definitely stay again but please sort out the bathrooms!

I absolutely love this hotel from start to finish. The staff are amazing and super friendly, the rooms are great, the bed well ITS AMAZING AND SOOOO COMFY, the only downfall in the room is that there was no sweeteners and no biscuits, but it didn't matter you can always ask the staff for those things, I just couldn't be bothered. I also ate in the restaurant and it was amazing. I have also been to functions at this hotel and I've been impressed every time and so reasonably priced for the service provided. the only thing I would ask to change is to have a later check out time of 12pm as I personally think 11am is to early.

Too expensive we arrived very late and there no pillows just think it was a waste of money really wouldn’t of been too bad if beak fast was included but £104 for one night is just too much there was nothing special about the room either

Not my usual type of hotel but was best deal in area for one night.
Our room was fantastic, large with fresh, modern decor, a big comfy bed and very clean throughout.
The only slight negatives here were, a lack of main lighting in the room, despite a number of lamps scattered around!! Also there was very little handsoap or shower gel in the bottles provided. This was rectified by alerting reception on our way out for the evening.
The corridors and room doors do give the feel of some kind of institution unfortunately but i guess this is some kind of noise prevention measure??
On that subject, the glazing was a little ineffective as i was awoken by chirping birds long before dawn! The traffic could also be heard from the nearby motorway. There was also a lot of noise from a corridor above and then at 5:30am the fire alarm was activated for a few seconds!!! We were told on check out that this had been a technical fault and the receptionist apologised.
However, these were not the only noise issues, as we had also heard, at an early hour, several heavy items being "dropped" on the floor above.
Our only other "complaint" was that we couldn't check-in at 2:40pm on arrival. Granted it says, check in from 3pm but at this range you wouldn't expect a problem. The staff did take my name and in fairness they had my key card ready, when i went back to the desk at 3pm.
Another point to note is the large number of steps from car park to reception which wasn't a problem to us but maybe to others and I couldn't see a ramp for easier access?
This place is a fantastic facility but had a bit too much of a holiday camp feel to me, though that said, i accept, it fits into a certain category of accomodation.
Overall, however, i feel it unfair to rate it any less than a 4 and accept some of our negatives were "a bad day at the office".

Fantastic leisure facilities - ease of use even when very busy. Breakfast ok but not great. Nice rooms. Overall, not bad for a cheap stay (as booked in the Jan sales) but concerns as to their expectations of other bookings they take when advised on check in that security was on in case of noise at night on the corridors. However - aware, some may see this as a positive. As it was, didnt have any noise on first floor so maybe it does work!

Room deal overnight stay.
Good location as you can walk into Bury. Leisure facilities looked good but we didn’t get time to use them and looked busy.
2nd time we have stayed here before at this hotel.

Comfortable hotel, nice restaurant, helpful and friendly staff. Unfortunately we had a bedroom next to a generator which was a bit noisy during the night. The room rate was discounted so perhaps that explains the room location.

Very clean and tidy hotel. Members of staff all very welcoming, although breakfasts could be a bit better organised.
Facilities are all first rate, with more than enough of everything supplied in the rooms.
