We were privileged to visit Cosalea yesterday prior to it’s grand opening. The decor is on point, atmosphere great, coffee brilliant and the cakes delicious. All of the team were attentive and friendly. A brilliant space to catch up with friends over coffee and cake! Definitely what we all need after the 1st half of 2020. Best of luck all x

I visited today at around 13:30 to catch up with a colleague and get some lunch. It was our first visit to the cafe and we really enjoyed it.
We felt safe with the spacing of tables and the sanitiser station as we entered.
We both had the chicken salad and it was delicious with plenty of fresh ingredients and we were asked if we would like to add a dressing too.
Coffee was delicious and the tea was served with a pot of hot water, a packaged teabag and a really cute china teacup and saucer. We also got a soft drink and they had a great selection of the best brands.
Thank you - we will be back again soon :-)

I personally believe Cosalea is just what the area needed! A well sized cafe with friendly staff and a menu you struggle to choose from due to the fantastic choice. I have eaten breakfast here and the portion was perfect. (I had a regular breakfast...u can go larger!) I have also had Tea and Cake...i had a Mars brownie on my 1st visit and a triple choc brownie on another visit...both mouth watering!
Every visit the cafe has been busy however you were still able to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. I will defo be returning again.

Due to covid19 I was surprised that on entering you had to order at the counter rather than staff taking your order at the table.
We had two breakfasts and teas. The tea arrived with nice china cups and two tea pots however my cup was very dirty. The assistant assurred me it was clean and just stained! I know it was stained, but that in my view means it is not clean. A good wash would ensure tea stains are removed. A lady behind us also sent her cup back. Very disappointing.
Breakfast was good, my husband had the reguar breakfast at £7.95. I had three items
plus toast which came to £4.55. The total bill came to £19.90 meaning we paid £7.40 for two pots of tea. Oddly the menu didn't show a price for the drinks!
The room is very pleasant and bright, but the overall price was considerably more than we normally pay for breakfast. For this reason alone I would not return. However the food was nice.

I’ve had breakfast and afternoon tea on more than one occasion and it’s just fab. Just what we need, somewhere to go that’s clean, bright, friendly and the food is great too. Social distancing is perfect and nothing too much trouble. Needless to say I’ll definitely be back even though I don’t live on that side of Bury.

I have visited Cosalea three times since opening. On the first occasion my husband was served tea instead of the coffee ordered and my cappuccino was more like a flat white with no froth at all. The cake ordered was very good. On the second visit again my cappuccino was again frothless so on the third visit ordered tea which was ok. Talking to my friend who I was meeting I told her about the cappuccino and she said her husband had said the same about his and would not have it again so it is not just me who has had this. We had the tuna toastie, served with salad which was nice and tasty but had to ask for salad cream and no salt on the table or served with the toastie. To finish off we ordered a latte which had more froth than the cappuccino. The one thing I was really concerned about was the fact that a member of staff brought our bill with their mask pushed under their chin and stood up close to the table-I was not happy at all and this happened whilst one of the owners was sat at a nearby table. I really do not like giving negative reviews and this review is not meant to be negative but more to let management know my thoughts. Would I return, of course it’s just down the road.
