An amazing hotel on the outskirts of Bury within walking distance (20 minutes) of the town centre and close to the M66. The room was spacious and airy, the bed was large and comfortable, I had two large singles pushed together. It would have been slightly better had there been a way of securing the two beds together to spot one moving, but this was not really a problem.
Breakfast was provided in the downstairs bar/restaurant and had a wide variety on the menu, although I did joke with the chef that in the town where it was invented, there was no Black Pudding. The rest more than made up for it though. Definitely will stay here again, loved it.

Very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Good sized car park with plenty parking. Parking was only £5, and the hotel was cheap enough so an extra £5 still seems very reasonable. Everything looks really well presented, modern and clean. The check-in is brilliant. You can either self check-in or speak to the Receptionist. It meant there were no delays checking in.
The rooms are very impressive. Perfectly clean, modern, decent bathroom, huge TV, and the Dyson Cool fan was a nice touch during the warm weather.
Couldn't fault it, would return in a heartbeat.

Very easy check and very Covid safe. Arrived for a friends party and met by friendly staff. No air conditioning in the room but did have the new Dyson fan which worked ok.

Issue with the television and had to change room, but very quickly resolved.

Good size room and good power shower

Breakfast next day was very nice and helpful staff

Would recommend to all

Booked the dine and stay package for a family celebration. Excellent value, nice rooms and the food was very good although staff struggled serving a group of 21. Made use of the pool which is well laid out with area for older members of the party to view.
All in all had a great time and will return.

Fab hotel, great place but why do you get other residents make so much noise in rooms ain’t being funny but don’t people think in life! Unbelievable if I hear my kids etc being heavy footed etc I’d say something but don’t know why now when you here doors slam and kids running up and down jumping come on parents have some consideration to others 😡

Very nice hotel. Huge, clean, very friendly staff. Good experience in pub/restaurant. Giving our previous bad experiences in Warrington and Ashton, we decided to order chicken tenders and wings with fries (didn't want to risk ordering steaks or burgers) and food was very fresh and tasty, so maybe next time we will explore more. We had a lot of fun and we will come again soon.

The website advertises a family room with a sofa bed as suitable for 2 adults and 2 children up to age of 12
Unfortunately the sofa bed was not big enough to comfortably sleep our 8 Yr & 10yr old boys.

On this occasion the hotel were able to very kindly change our room to x2 double beds which was more comfortable.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with adequate space.

The hotel bar is extremely noisy and not particularly family friendly. We didn't enjoy our meal in there which is a real shame as we are pretty laid back but we wouldn't choose to use village with our family again because of this. Bar prices are high.

If using booking.Com to book be aware there are pool restrictions for children too at certain times which aren't mentioned on their website.

The staff are lovely and very friendly. I would recommend the hotel if you're not taking young family with you

Great stay, very nice hotel, amazing rooms and facilities. Given our previous stays at various other Villages, this was by far the best out of them all still a few loud rooms so be aware if coming with children. Staff are extremely helpful and nice especially Megan on reception (Nights) she was extremely helpful in making sure our stay was brilliant. The pool and gym facilities were brilliant. Will defiantly be visiting again.
