This was a nice lil weekend away for me and my boyfriend as we do get to see each other alot. First food stopped at 10 and I was starving so couldn't get room service and then the take out menus provided just went very good. I dint realise the duvet was feathers until 4 in the morning (my own fault) wiches I can't have but forgot to say. The blind wasn't very black out and the shower door was tinny so the water went everywhere... also... and this is the main one, it was like a maze to find your was around we and another couple were going up and down up a download trying to get out. And the torqoise on the wall and all the steel made us feel like we were on a army bade and by boyfriend would know lol xxxx

The hotel has recently been refurbished. It now offers a great business meeting place and the rooms are superb value for what you pay.

Friendly, efficient and professional staff.
Great breakfast.
Plenty of parking.
You can walk to Bury and reach central Manchester on the tram in about 40 minutes.

I would stay again, but not on a Saturday night due to noise.

The adjoining door on our room had very poor sound proofing. I actually thought somebody had entered the room at first since it also let light underneath!

There was a disco until 4am that was audible thru the closed windows, even with earplugs in.

Various very drunk people in the halls, with no apparent electornic security system to prevent unauthorised access at night.

A bustling sporty type Hotel suitable for young people. My bed was very soft and not comfortable. No fridge in the room. Room very cheaply furnished

We entered into the hotel, I sometimes find it difficult to walk and found the steps to the entrance quite tiring and it wasn't obvious if you could get up to the entrance if you were disabled.
Anyway, entered the hotel with a welcoming friendly hello from the staff, there is a new fancy way of checking in now, and they get you to do it. Once your card has been registered (we had a Club Room as it was worth just spending an extra few quid for a bigger room). However, to get to the Club Rooms you have to walk quite a bit, up one lift down a hall way, down another lift, then down another hallway to get to our room and I am not a far walker. We entered into the room, immediately noticed that it was spacious and the bed was very big. The bathroom was lovely and big. We had a Tassimo Coffee Maker in the room and a big wide screen tv (bigger than the average) there were a few niggles about the room/hotel we didn't like: Someone's hair in the shower tray (boyfriend had to wash it down as I get cringy with anything like that), the shower tray could do with a deeper tray or longer glass panel, as the water eventually ran over the shower tray causing the foot towel to be soaked, possibly out of the hotel's control, but there was a Dog that would bark throughout the day and night which was really annoying at 2am and 4am in the morning. I think as we upgraded to the Club Room, breakfast could of been included.

Nice Hotel but expensive for food and drink in bar. Use pub next door for food and drink.

Booked at very short notice in Dec. No idea about the hotel but pleasantly surprised on arrival. Friendly welcome from receptionist, swift check in and given a room on the second floor. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Room was spacious, very clean and tastfully decorated. Bathroom was excellent, bed comfortable with tea and coffee machine. Room was quiet at night. TV was modern and huge (bit too big for my liking but lots of channels). Swimming pool is excellent, didn't use the restaurant at night but breakfast was well laid out, hot and service was very good. My only comment would be the in room coffee machine only filled the large mug up to about a third full, good choice of drinks though and to be honest I may have missed something in the instructions.
Overall very surprised at the high standard of this hotel considering the price paid for the room and shoul I need to visit Bury again will definately use this hotel.
