The package we had was excellent quality and the staff very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and the meals were great. We will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we are down for business

Fantastic experience from start to finish , Joanne was great to liaise with. Bethany on the day setting up the room was brilliant, considering I wanted to set the room up myself as I like things just so… I trusted Bethany to set the room , she didn’t disappoint , all the bar staff of the evening were brilliant, wish I caught their names DJ Kelvin was amazing keeping the guest up on the dance floor, the posh buffet was superb all my guests commented on the good , my party went without a hitch and I had an amazing time celebrating the mile stone of turning 50

Although I appreciate this has clearly had a renovation, the pool area really lets it down as does the prices in the bar. The rooms are nice, spacey and clean. The check in staff are great. The pool area is very dated; the steam room is excessively hot, the jacuzzi is cold and the area itself feels very old. The bar was ok; not the best range of drinks on draft and the cost of food especially is ridiculous. From memory, a burger meal was around £16/£17; that’s fine if it was a gourmet burger or such, not acceptable for what you get. There is a carvery next door which was decent, half the price and better quality, definitely eat there over the hotel. It’s a shame really but the rooms being renovated is not good enough when you consider the cost to stay there.

I stayed here with my partner in late February. Highly impressed with the efficient check-in and exceptional customer service. Rooms are spacious and a fantastic supersized wall mounted tv. Great gym facilities and impressive swimming pool.hot tub and sauna.
The highlight of the first night was enjoying eats and drinks in the bar / grill. Burgers are super sized, chicken tenders that melt in the mouth and a plethora of mixed fries and onion rings. The staff in the restaurant are all warm and accommodating - a special shout out for Sophie & Karen who really excel in personalised customer service.
To top it all probably the best porn star Martini I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back again :-)

Second time staying here & will stay again. Excellent facilities, free parking, staff VERY friendly & helpful. Food was AMAZING! Lovely decorated rooms, very clean too. Beds very comfy, no noises could be heard despite being quite close to motorway. Pool facilities are great, Starbucks at the entrance. What more do you want??!? 5 minutes from The Arcade Club, which is amazing. We had a great mini break with our young boys. Will definitely be returning for a third time.

We love everything about this, perfect location and close to motorway. Use the pool and other amenities. Nice room, good sleep and very clean. Use the bar to eat at late evening and use Starbucks in morning. Everything you want is there.

My partner and I drove up to Bury and stayed in The Village for 2 nights. I love this hotel, I think there is a great atmosphere and vibe there. The staff are very happy, helpful and friendly. My only criticism would be with the room. It is quite dark and dingy and even though there were numerous lamps, they did not give off a lot of light. In the bathroom there were only 2 small hooks on which to hang 4 towels, so that didn't work too well either, especially as one was broken so the towel kept dropping to the floor.

We were on the first floor. The room was quite spacious and adequate for our needs as we were out most of the time, but the walls were pretty thin, either that, or we had quite noisy neighbours!

The buffet breakfast was lovely, although there was no fried egg option, and no-one offered that option to us, so we just had scrambled egg, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms (which were quite stewed), sausages, bacon & black pudding on the Sunday morning, but on the Monday there was no black pudding out, so unless we missed that, the options available were less on the Monday. There was also the option of cereals, yoghurts, fruit, pastries, toast, and various hot drinks from the machines, so that was all excellent. There was also fresh orange juice, which was lovely on the Sunday but tasted different and a bit watered down on the Monday, which was a shame.

We ate in the Pub & Grill on the Saturday night because we had a voucher as part of our VIP Club booking. My partner had the seabass which he said was lovely, but the portion was very small and only came with some vegetables, so that was disappointing. One of our friends had a steak which she said was nice, and three of us had a "healthy bowl" option - 2 of us had the chicken fajita bowl, which was delicious and very filling, another had the prawn and noodle bowl, which she said was lovely too.

The staff in the restaurant were very friendly. They brought a birthday cake out for my friend and every sang, so that was nice.

All the staff were still wearing masks, which I know is uncomfortable for them, but I for one, found that nice to see, whether they were for their benefit or the benefit of their guests, it showed caring, and even through the masks, you could tell they were all still smiley and happy.

My partner and I had a couple of hours to hours to use the facilities. The pool was lovely and warm, and the areas very clean. I have stayed here before & I will definitely stay there again.
