....Just to let you know that Messrs H C Lenthall no longer have their premises in the High Street, offering cycle repairs as well as being the agents for such popular makes as 'Rudge-Whiteworth, Centaur, Raleigh, Humber and Premier' cycles.
The firm also sold motor spirit (petrol in more modern terms); stored cars, had an inspection pit for repairs and offered motor vehicles for hire.
Although they have gone, by my calculations these are the premises now occupied by Poppins Restaurant, so cyclists of all sorts may find there refreshment, if not repair!
