Girton Golf Club is an 18 hole private members club sitting 3 miles from the centre of Cambridge in the village of Girton. The club welcomes visitors, societies and corporate days and has over 700 members including strong Junior and Ladies sections plus a rapidly growing Social membership.

The atmosphere at the club is relaxed, egalitarian and friendly. Located where Girton meets the Fenland levels with drainage ditches crossing a number of holes this is an easy walking, but tight parkland course of 6012 yards par 69, whose greens are rated among the best in Cambridgeshire.

Large Clubhouse

The clubhouse is an extensive light and airy modern complex, with a smartly furnished lounge, a restaurant and two bars where over 25 social activities are planned each year from a Summer Dinner Dance to Burns Night and many themed Dinner Evenings, plus the ever popular Quiz Nights. Our Stewards Kim and Alan, and manager Vanda are always available to discuss specific requirements including:

At the club there is a wide menu available for light lunches to Corporate Events, plus typically 5 daily specials all at a very competitive price.

PGA Pro Trainer

The Head PGA Professional at the club is the highly regarded Alan Fletcher who has 3 PGA Assistant Pros working with him and wonderful practice and coaching facilities.

Girton Golf Club has the most well equipped Indoor Studio in the Cambridge Area with the latest FlightScope swing analysis equipment and SAM Put Lab Technology.

New members always welcome

Girton Golf Club is always delighted to receive new member applications be they 7 day, 5 day, Associate, Junior or Social members. The professional team run courses throughout the year for new players including:

• Learn Golf in a Day
• Junior Golf Roll Up sessions
• Ladies Group Lessons for New Players

All of these are low cost group sessions in a fun but informative environment with equipment provided for the new players.
