Plans for 300 new homes on the southern outskirts of Cambridge have been given the go ahead this week.
Planning chiefs at the City Council accepted plans for the new properties at Glebe Farm, providing another step forward for the massive construction ongoing within the area.
Glebe Farm, which sits between Trumpington Meadows and Clay Farm, will over time eventually become a combined site for almost 3500 new homes.
The development also hopes to spark new business and employment within the area due to proposed shops, pubs and retail opportunities included within the approved plans.
