It's an old joke.
Two men are walking around a car boot sale and one says 'this is rubbish... I've been trying to buy a car boot for hours and none of them are for sale'.
However, Histon FC is going at least a small step towards putting that right as it hosts an Autojumble on Sunday 9th September 2012!
Essentially it's a jumble sale exclusively for motoring enthusiasts, whether you are a novice to the scene or a petrol head of many years standing you are welcome to come along with your friends of members of your car club and meet up with other genuine car enthusiasts.
With refreshments on offer on the day and a wide range of automotive equipment and memorabilia expected to be available on the stalls you can cash in on some of your collection or perhaps fill in some of the gaps.
Starting at 7.30 on Sunday at Histon's Glassworld Stadium near Cambridge, it is the only event of its kind in the region, so don't miss out. Who knows, you might even be able to buy a car boot somewhere? Call 07899 857703 for further details.
