Cambridge resident, Tara Payne shares her top picks for the forthcoming Cambridge Festival of Ideas...
Expand your mind! It's a wonderful thing to do for people of all ages, kids need to learn all about the world we live in and experience cultures and ideas outside of their usual environments. Adults need to keep their opinions and ideas fresh (and have something interesting to talk about at the next dinner party) and everyone knows that the best way to stay young is to keep interested in the world! What better way to get some fresh thinking than by coming along to The Festival of Ideas...
This year marks the sixth anniversary of Cambridge University's Festival of Ideas, which features a massive programme of events, activities and taster sessions for all ages, including performances, workshops and debates.
