Cambridge's famous Trinity Street Post Office will close later this month, following plans announced by Post Office bosses to replace it with a larger city centre branch.
The Post Office, popular with students, academics and tourists, will finally close on Wednesday 23rd June with the new replacement Post Office on King Street opening the following weekend on Saturday 26th June.
A spokesperson for Post Office commented: "We are delighted to be able to confirm the relocation date of this branch. The new post office will have level entry into the branch to assist those with mobility difficulties, extended opening hours with the branch opening daily at 8.30am, and parking is available directly outside the branch."
