With ice skating, late night shopping and festive craft markets all kicking off across Cambridge in the next few days, Christmas 2010 is shaping up to be one of the biggest Cambridge has ever seen.
Ice Skating
Cambridge on Ice starts the festivities today, 24th November, with exciting outdoor ice skating in the heart of Cambridge city centre at Parkers Piece.
Christmas Fayre's, Shows and Markets
The Fields Childrens Centre Christmas Fayre takes place from 11am on the 27th November, complete with an appearance from Father Christmas, a fantastic raffle and refreshments available throughout the day.
The 27th November also sees the Cambridge Festive Fayre take over the Holy Trinity Church from 3pm.
Showcasing a wide variety of local craft and produce under one roof, the Fayre is a great chance to snap up unique Christmas gifts you won't find anywhere else.
The Christmas Well-Being Show is offering the chance for local families to get in top shape ready for the festive excess, with a wide range of health and beauty therapies on offer.
Starting from 11am on the 28th November at the Guildhall Market Square, the Show is hosting a wide range of healthy and beauty therapy taster sessions that offer you the chance to dip your toe into the rewarding world of well-being at a massively reduced rate.
Christmas Lunch
Enjoy a Christmas lunch no matter what day of the week it is as Anglesey Abbey begins serving Christmas Lunch in the breathtaking surroundings of their Redwoods Restaurant from the 1st December.
Late Night Wednesday Shopping in Cambridge
From Wednesday 1st December until Wednesday 22nd December, shops and stores across Cambridge city centre will remain open until 9pm for all those last minute Christmas shopping trips.
