Now we all know what Cambridge is famous for, as a hub of intelligence to many people across the world, but is this a factor in the belief amongst some that Cambridge is surviving off its historic successes - the celebrity names of the past such as Darwin and Wilberforce?
The University is one of our greatest assets and a major wow factor in conversation of education and culture; however the Celebrity Date being held this Friday 4th November asks what of now? Will Cambridge rely and survive on these elements forever?
Four speakers from the history, comedy and celebrity world will be coming to the city to debate these ideas at the Cambridge Union debating chamber (of course), and so I urge you to take part in this unique opportunity to see where our fair city is heading!
Entry is £10 (concessions available) and booking is mandatory so don’t delay; visit DEBATE for more details on how to do so!
