The tireless generosity of local independent travel agents in Cambridge has been proven this week as they work overtime to help local residents stranded abroad due to flight disruptions, get back home.
Coming to the aid of local residents, one city centre branch opened on Sunday and also established an emergency team to deal with the huge number of enquiries they recieved from both customers already abroad and those with future bookings.
Some Cambridge reisdents have been left as far away from home as the Far East and California as flights continue to be disrupted by the cloud of volcanic ash slowly creeping across the ocean.
