How does this sound...?
You begin your evening on a lantern-lit punt on the tranquil river. You and up to eleven others on each punt will be kept warm and toasty by blankets, hot water bottles, hot juice and festive mulled wine as you take a slow, cosy tour around some of the finest sights of Cambridge.
After your 30 minute punting experience ends, the carols begin! In the warm glow of lantern-light, your chauffeur will take you from the Punting Station to Little St Mary's Church in Cambridge for a 30 minute festive concert, courtesy of members of Hills Road College Chamber Choir.
Festive or what?
If this sounds like the perfect Christmas treat, you're going to love the fact that Scuadmore's - the organisers behind this year's Punting and Carols event - are raising money for East Anglia's Children's Hospitals (EACH) this year.
This means that 50% of each ticket sold for Punting and Carols will be going directly to EACH! The charity relies on the generous support and donations from businesses and individuals so every penny really does make a difference.
EACH supports families and cares for children and teenagers with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. Care is provided at the family's home, within the community or at one of the EACH hospices.
Yet as a registered charity, EACH has to raise nearly £6 million through public donations just to keep offering these essential services to help families make the most out of their time together.
That's £16,000 per day!
Can you help by having enjoying a festive evening with friends and family? Not any hardship, is it?
Book now!
There are very limited tickets available for Punting and Carols, so if you want to experience Cambridge at Christmas from a whole different angle, book now by calling the Bookings Team on 01223 359 750.
