Cambridge has a distinctively thespian atmosphere this week as The Cambridge Shakespeare Festival takes over The College Gardens until the end of August.
Running from the 13th July until the 28th August, the festival is one of the most renowned celebrations of Shakespeare's work in the UK and draws visitors from across the globe to Cambridge.
Set in the magnificent surroundings of The College Gardens of Cambridge University, audiences will be able to enjoy spectacular lives performances of Shakespeare's key works in full period costume with live Elizabethan music.
Attracting over 25,000 visitors every year, the festival is not to be missed, especially as it takes place on your very own doorstep!
